#Fire Coach Dorrell

If you remember when JE was fired he was hurt, he was emotional. He needed to be fired but he cared and was angry that he didn't get to keep trying to bring wins to a program he loved.

When KD gets fired he's going to go home and grill some steaks and watch some TV.

Whelp, the rot has reached critical mass. Only competition now is to see who has a worse season for the history books, embree or Karl. Next coach will start from scratch, whenever that is. It's gonna be hilarious when Karl comes back next year. The level of DGAF from him is gonna be through the roof

Post game: KD says he was surprised by the bad start. Gotta get back to work. We gotta figure out bigger and better plans. Maybe simplify. Difficult day. MJ feeds him the young player excuse. KD says McCown made some good plays with his feet. Says they shouldn't be in a situation where McCown should play. He says there's a sense of urgency with conference play starting. Need to get better in a hurry. Have to be more proficient and better early in games.

Good lord, he's on auto pilot.

The only comparably bad year was 2012. That year, CU started the season 0-3 with a 17-22 loss to CSU, a 28-30 loss to Sac State, and a 14-69 blowout to Fresno State. Won the next game, Coug’d It, and finished 1-11.

At least Embree is actually a really good guy.

HCKD is smart enough to take advantage of RG's bad decisions. He is cashing in.

If KD cared about keeping his job, he would advance the narrative that neither JT nor BLewis are the answer, and he would turn the thing over to McCown for the rest of the season, no matter what happens; and he should announce him the starter early in the week. It's the only shot he has at keeping his job AND McCown on the roster next year. It's the only possible story that could be sold for the rest of the season.

We all know he won't do this, but just a thought.

Sorry for lingering in the game thread. Only glimmer of a less dark spot I find today is it shows how exceptional Tad Boyle is. MJ basically called KD out on it in the post game. {My take - MJ asked about the change from non to conference play in a professional manner}
Tad hides nothing and calls himself and players to account after any loss.
Has anyone done that in football in not-so-recent memory?
How can this continue for people professionally associated to this dumpster fire?

Whatever you may think of Shrout or Lewis, I don’t believe this to be a personnel issue. Do the Buffs lack talent? Yes, absolutely, but it’s a coaching issue. Karl Dorrell is incompetent. The players know it and have quit on him. Many of them quit on him last year when they transferred. The remainders quit by the 3rd quarter of TCU.

When does Ralphie enter the transfer portal after such a craptacular performance?

Long time fan (class of '91) but my god....i've never seen a more pathetic showing by the coaches, and yes...I remember the losses to Drake.

The lack of emotion that KD constantly shows is what we are getting on the field. Attitude reflects leadership. This is where macintyre excelled. He limped people up for games and was excited on the sidelines.
KD looks like he’s on dope 100% of the time. His players look worse. No explosivity I’m the lines, no hustle, no heart.
