CU vs CSU the rivalray is on CET right now. Watching these idots try to explain why cam is better than Ralphie is hilarious. What a bunch of herbs.

I watched a little of that, and all it does every years is just piss me off...i can't stomach watching all those stupid a** CSU fans say the same damn thing like "Boulder is full of hippies and Fort Collins is such a better place to live and go to school" and "We shoulda won". Just makes me want to EDUCATE some of these stupid people! Just because you were on some stupid list doesn't mean that Fort Collins is the greatest place in the world to live, because it is NOT even close. And CET, this is not the greatest Rivalry in Sports history, so don't try and build it up like it is....

They had the 2004 and 2005 RMSs on FSRM yesterday and after watching them I came away with 2 things:
1. I'm glad GB's gone and Hawk is here. GB's teams (in both games) constantly found ways to try and lose the game. We were a much better football team than the lammies in both contests but we shot ourselves in the foot repeatedly like we loved it. Turnovers, fouls negating critical turning point plays, soft defenses late in the game and zero halftime adjustments - we were going out of our way to make it close. The attitude from our current buffs is just so different. There's no excuses and our team now makes plays instead of trying to not make mistakes. You can see it in the execution, feel it in the team chemistry and it will be very obvious on Sunday against the lammies.
2. Damn I am glad David Anderson is gone. That dude was special and he had CU's number big time. Nice not having him in green and gold anymore.

I think since the OU game last year, CU carries more swagger. CSU is about to see a different CU team than they have been accustomed to the past 10 years. That is the main reason I don't give csu much of a chance.

:yeahthat:

Him and Johnny Walker. That GD flanker screen killed us repeatedly in the 2006 game. I wanted to scream.

This is the first time in a long time where I believe that CU can (and should) simply impose their will on CSU. While I'm willing to believe that CSU will move the ball somewhat as the Buff defense gets broken in (especially through the air), the offense should be able to do whatever they want. Pass, run, screen, end-around, I don't care what. We now have the horses on offense top to bottom that this game should be a joke.

Yea, both those guys killed us, especially Anderson. In his last game or 2 against CU I kept thinking, "doesn't that guy ever drop a pass thrown his way??"

As for GB, I always got the impression that he didn't give the lammies the same attention and respect they gave us, but I have to admit that I'm more glad to see lubejob gone when it comes to this game.

To be honest, I think CSU will struggle to move the ball on us. I don't see them running much on us and I think you will see us rush the passer a lot forcing mistakes.
