while working at the book store, i saw him, and he looked more lean than he did in pictures. looks like he has pretty slender ankles.

kinda creepy that you looked at his ankles. However, he was in the book store! Buying books! wooooo no academic casualties!

actually the athletes get their books all packed up by some employees. my friend justin said he was packaging hypolite's books.

Good grief, I thought big George was done!!!! Didn't he already get his degree?

Oh wait, he's gotta be taking some kinda classes so he can play. <duh>

I am pretty sure that what you just posted is an out and out lie. I know this because I was listening to the Fan on the way in and they were saying that D Scott was slow and fat.

What a couple of morons. I wanted to call a couple of times to straighten their 'facts' out, but remembered the advice about arguing with idots.

On a side note; think what D Scott will look like at the end of the season with the training he will be getting.

dude was never fat or didn't have no cankles (even tho that made me laugh!) and definately isn't/wasn't slow....and if he was so out of shape and is still getting carries this Sunday, then by week 3 & the West Va. game he's gon be down right scary

That is his 40 time.

1. What is the fastest you've ever run the 40 in?
2. Do you prefer to shake somebody in the open field, stiff arm them, or just run them over?

-PrincessKit

Scott - Fastest 40 was a 4.32 at a combine.
I'd prefer a shake/stiff arm combo if I had to choose but whatever it takes.

Cool story about that combine. Alot of people were starting to doubt DScott's speed early in the recruiting year. They said they've seen Scott and there's no way the kid runs a 4.3 40. Scott showed up to the Los Angeles combine (i think), waited for his turn, and He proceeded to run a 4.32. He threw his sweats back on and walked off the field. DONE!

I'm sure most of you have seen this. From the RMN.

Darrell Scott has lightened his load.

Three weeks of training camp that included some extra post-practice running and several sessions in the steam room have dropped the celebrated freshman running back's weight to 210 pounds.

That's 17 fewer than when he reported to Boulder the week before preseason practice began.

But Scott, who's listed behind sophomore Demetrius Sumler and junior Kevin Moyd in CU's tailback grouping, says his weight drop isn't finished.

"I want to get to 205, and when that happens, watch out, I'm dangerous," he said Sunday at the conclusion of the Buffaloes' light, 55-minute workout.

"You have to wonder what's going on up there in Boulder if Darrell Scott starts over Marcus Houston."

well i mentioned slender ankles cause im pretty sure randy moss has slender ankles and calfs, and look how fast he is.

He is in one of my classes and looks fine to me. Major and MTM are in the class as well. In a class of 130 Darrell is right up in the front and looks interested.

The only problem I can see is the girls that flocked over by him before class started.

Why is that a problem? A happy player makes a great player!:smile2:

Are you a permanent employee at the bookstore or a rush temp? Either way, hooray for a fellow bookstore employee and props for interesting news and making it through (most of) rush.
