Why did Russell start to sit that route down?
Kid is a monster and really nice in person. He'll be a nice 4-5th round pick up for some NFL team.
So, I know our QB situation has been bad for a few years now, but this is like Russell’s 6th season and he has yet to be any good with any QB or any OC. I suppose that’s why he’s still playing in college, but it’s incredibly sad that we have never been able to recruit over him

With the coaches we have had have to wonder if we didn't have a TE who was better than Brady and just never got a chance because Russell does what the coaches want him to do and is a hard worker.
We know that there have been players at other positions sitting while a coaches favorite plays (cough, cough, RB, cough.)
Not only does this team significantly lack talent but the talent it does have has frequently been wasted or missused.
Any offensive coordinator that cannot score at will on our defense should be fired on the spot.
