Prime may get more five star commits this week than we've had previously.
I don’t know. That seems pretty unrealistic. A&M with the top class last year had 8 and that was with A&M booster money giving “NIL” deals like crazy. For Prime to pull in five 5 stars with 3 months left in the recruiting cycle would be unprecedented. I could see 1 or 2 for this years class. Hope I’m wrong, wouldn’t mind that one bit

I'm counting transfers lol. I've seen things about Travis Hunter coming here too.
Oh yeah with transfers and prep then I could certainly see him getting close. Still think 3-4 would be the cap but if we get more. Wow.
Interesting in the press conference when asked about recruiting Prime stated that NIL is important but kids should focus more on NFL.
Statement says that he is going to embrace NIL but acknowledges that CU isn't going to beat some other programs on pure dollar figures. Stating that he can provide them with something more than just NIL.
Another dozen of the others left theirs on.
I thought that was in reference to game day?
And my hoodie had I been wearing one. Sadly most of those guys didn't even realize they were failing the first test.
Granted as a 35 year old there's more experience, but I would have been on the edge of my seat from the moment he walked in looking intent and ready. I would have been scouring those Jackson St. videos and learning the things he didn't accept.
Then, most importantly when he asked for questions I would have immediately dropped, 'what can I do starting the moment you walk out that door to make sure I impress the hell out of you at our next meeting or practice?'
I think Coach Prime was dying for anyone to ask something along those lines.....
Not just game day. In meetings, meals, any official football interactions. He has some very strict rules about appearance and behavior. “Some say I’m an old fool. I’m just old school.”
no slides, earrings, hoodies, expected to open and hold doors, sit front of class and participate in class

It is very strict. As Prime said himself, he has the credentials to make these demands.

I finally listened to the press conference. Deion is a fascinating and magnetic individual. I have to think that our history of hiring black coaches intrigued him to listen. That was the foot in the door. WOW.
And look how it worked out for aTm. I prefer talented guy that are a good fit over just 5 star guys. BUT STARS DO MATTER!!
Very few humans can talk as arrogantly as him and get away with it. It's wild to watch and he pulls it off. This is going to be amazing to watch unfold. What a story!
For the love of all that’s good and pure, please stop calling him Deion. His preferred names are Prime, Coach, Coach Sanders, and Coach Prime.

He was one of the best athletes we’ve seen in the last 100 years. He played two professional sports very well (one at HOF level) simultaneously. He ran a 4.4 in his 40s. He can indeed back it up.

His attitude on things like these compare to John Wooden who had similar expectations (of course different in details in a different era.)
Attention to detail, treating yourself and others with respect, being accountable can become a lifestyle and a mental habit. When paying attention to detail becomes a natural part of how you do things it is easier to pay attention to detail on the football field (or the basketball court, or the classroom, etc.)

It's not arrogance if it's true and not exaggerated.
I would say confident is the more appropriate word for Coach Prime. Arrogant means to exaggerate one's worth. I think he will be invaluable to this university.
I'm not saying he's arrogant. I'm saying he comes off as arrogant because of the claims he makes. It's wild that his confidence is justified.
Yeah, sounds like sports are gonna schedule CU vs JSU and maybe other HBCUs for non-con matchups.
