'23 TNFR TE Arik Gilbert (Verbal to Nebraska)

Every TE that's been recruited over the last 12-15 yrs could/should've been recruited over. Every year we were led to believe the TE was going to play a bigger part in the offense...never happened.
Kasa was the only NFL talent in the past 15 years at TE. Inexcusable with CU's history at the position and this being a position with 4* in-state talent.

Remember Kasa was also a converted DE. I've never seen a program so inept at finding and cultivating TE talent. It's been embarrassing.
In fairness, he was recruited to the big boys to play TE. He flipped here because we would let him play DE and his GF was going here. He finally agreed to play TE towards the end, and became a low level NFL prospect.

True, but it's been bad for awhile. Culminating I firmly believe, in accepting Matt Lynch as a transfer TE. I mean...WTAF?

Who was the TE we got years back from Iowa I think it was? Quinn Sypniewski or something like that? He was a big dude, played some in the NFL, knee problems cut it short I believe. Him or a Daniel Graham sure as hell wouldn't hurt my feelings. I'm still not giving up on Fauria yet but it hasn't sounded too promising.

Sypniewski was a tandem with Joel Klophenstein, if I‘m remembering correctly

Supreme talent. Most major programs did not consider this a good risk.

Outside of being home to the Huskers, Lincoln is not a bad place. I have a friend from high school who has lived there since she graduated from college, and she loves it. I like the Haymarket area, and the city overall is fine.
Dude you like Lincoln? If anything the Huskers improve that hellhole.
