Pics of a Flooded Texas Tech Stadium

Did someone forget to install drains in that field or what? I've never seen anything like that.

Their passing game will go nowhere under those conditions, this just demonstrates the absolute necessity of being able to run the damn ball.:smile2:

I remember in 2002 when we beat them at Folsom, they were complaining about how tall the grass was on the field...

At least we can drain our stadium. Try running a spread offense under 3 feet of water. Some of their receivers could be treading water in the huddle.

There was a lot of flooding down this way last night.

It was a real treat driving in from Dallas

If ever there was a time and place to launch a pirate ship in Lubbock, this is it!

I wonder if it's an incomplete pass if the ball skips off the water but never touches grass.

Im sure they did but Flatlands dont have gravity on their side because its flat. The name of the game in a flat place is absorption and French drains. On the later their comes a point where the ground cant absorb any more water and a French Drain gets over run.
