CU vs. #25 West Virginia prediction thread

Alright, we are less than a week away from it, so time for predictions.

CU is 2-0 coming off a scare to Eastern Washington while West Virginia is coming off a dissapointing loss to East Carolina. Both teams will be ready to play and prove something. Colorado's O-line must be better than the last game in order to have a chance. I think having Devin Head and Riar Geer back in the lineup will help out the line. On defense the buffs are in for a tough task tryign to defend Pat White and Noel Devine. If WV runs a lot even with their talent, I still think the buffs match up pretty well.
Folsom will be rockin and black, the buffs will be honoring Eddie Crowder, and WV is overlooking the altitude factor. I have a good feeling about this game. I think the buffs actually play a complete game starting strong and finishing.

Keys
-Contain White and Devine
-Better blocking
-limit penalties and turnovers
-Start strong and finish
-open playbook more. Run more and throw DOWNFIELD!
-Fans, come early to fill stadium, be loud and wear black!

Buffs 28 West Virginia 27
Total Offense: 388

CU Total Offense: 400 (200+ on the ground! Let's go D. Scott!)

No matter what happens: :gobuffs:

I don't have a good feeling about this game and I REALLY hope I'm wrong, but I see our inexperience eventually leading to defeat. They'll play hard and come close, but make mine WV 35, CU 27.

I have no idea. I think the matchup of their running attack vs our rushing defense is a good one for us. I feel better against rushing teams then I do against passing for sure. Make Pat White beat you through the air. Much better odds imo.

After last week, I don't know what to think.

CU - 38
WVU - 35

CU total O = 411 yards

Hmmmmmm - if I had to guess, I would say that WVU probably gets scared and decides to forfeit.

Therefore the Buffs win via forfeit.

Make mine 35 to 10 Buffs. I think our D shuts down the run and that spells doom for WV. Total O for the Buffs 450

Buffs - 38
WVU - 13

This will be D-Scott's coming out party to the world. His declaration that he will be in the Heisman running come next season!

CU 24
WV 21

Scott goes for two TD's & 100 + yards

Bold first post. If he nails his prediction, I recommend that we replace Stoudt's image with Sparky's...assuming of course he's not actually the ASU mascot.

I think if we're going to pull this out it's going to be a relatively low scoring affair. Hopefully our offense doesn't hurt our defense by giving up field position. My homer of a prediction 17-14 BUFFS.
