Interesting thread. I always like to see how opposing fans are viewing their matchup with us.

Some fans don't give Colorado much respect and say we lack speed and will wear out with the humidity, some fans are down on their Noles and actually think CU wins big, but for the most part, it is pretty even what they think. Most will think a close low scoring game and a lot of them are actually picking CU to win.

Oh and if you look at the other threads, there is a lot of Miami talk. I hope the Nole football team is thinking about Miami as much as their fans are.

CU vs. FSU predictions from Nole fans

A lot of the FSU fans are picking CU to win. It seems they are kind of down on their team right now. I know the feeling. ***coughs, 06 season, coughs*** I hope we destroy them, but they should have more confidence than they do.

It's hard to have a lot of confidence in your team when you just lost 12-3 to Wake Forest at home. Just the same, there's a ton of talent there, and they can do a lot of damage.

The Bama board as a whole is picking CU to win. We did play both of you last year and most thought CU is getting better and FSU getting worse. I drank too much to do any analyst work on either game. The 'intramural' rant is loved over here.

It's D-1 football. It's the Big 12.

CU will be at a disadvantage in this game due to the heat and humidity. However, I think the speed differential isn't as big as is being made out. Yes, FSU has better overall speed, but the gap isn't that big. WVA has a lot of speed, too, and CU matched it.

One thing that CU has in it's favor is confidence. I guarantee you every player on the CU squad believes they are going in there and winning that game. They believe in themselves. They believe in their coaches. The same cannot be said for the FSU players right now. They are questioning themselves and their coaching.

Gonna be warm for the boys - Weather.com says high of 88, humidity at 56%

For what it apparently gets like down there, that is fine. I really hope Hawk brings those cooling fans down there as well. Especially since it should be significantly cooler late in teh game, hopefully the guys will have enough juice to really finish!

Imho the conditions are a wash. going down in altitude should help these guys as much as the humidity and heat hurt them.

Kickoff is 3pm. I imagine that's about the hottest time of the day.

Meh, the UGA game was 95 degrees with 100% humidity and that team was in no where near the shape that this team is in. A nice sunny day with relatively low humidity is not going to be much of a factor.

Sounds a lot like West Virginia fan base last week...

Why is everyone so enamored with the speed of FSU? Yes, speed is nice but I can guarantee that we are far stronger and more physical than them.

wow after reading that, i really have no idea what you guys were like during the 06 season. hahaha, good thing i wasnt on here for that. that mustve sucked.

Huh? Did watch the WF game? That defense is VERY physical and strong. And that was missing 5 starters.

I'm sold. I'm guessing you missed the Wake game?

We want to be the underdog - didn't it always motivate you when people underestimated your worth. I loved getting the chance to piss people off and prove them wrong. Revenge is the sweetest morsel ever put in a sinner's mouth by the devil.
CU 28
FSU 24
Speedy burns the Noles for 160 yards rushing.

Haha I guess FSU is the '85 Bears but better. We have no chance cuz they're the fastest and most physical defense in the land:rolleyes:
