Would be just for one year as every B12 team will get full payments when the new Big 12 contract kicks for 2025-26.

Am I the only one who has this vision in my head of FSU's lawyers being led into the courtroom by Osceola carrying a flaming spear, while each lawyer does the warchant-tomahwk chop, all in a row?

Except that my post was addressing ACC-Pac merger. You're talking about 8 ACC schools having an option of voting together to disband and they could do that as a new conference or because they all desire to become free agents. Absolutely possible and much more likely than doing so to form a new Pac-Atlantic conference.

That merger in any form is an unrealistic pipe dream proposed by desperate Pac fanboys.

Maybe some of Allbuff's General Counsel can explain whether or not this is a realistic example of how the GoR could be nullified or weakened by court rulings.

My limited research into Sovereign Immunity laws is that (a) they vary widely from state to state, (b) Texas is an outlier providing more protection for its state entities, and (c) the ACC was specifically incorporated in Delaware to move it into federal court if challenged.
