I agree with you guys, and I think we match up well, but I am hoping to pounce early to force them into a bad offensive situation.

I wasn't actually commenting about Minnesota's Defense. It was ok I guess? Clearly, the Nub offense is one dimensional and their own fans say their OL is garbage. They really had one play, QB run.

I can't say that's because Minnesota's D took everything away. It looked to me to be due to QB play and lack of playmakers at WR and TE. And the corn faithful are saying the same thing.

They can run the ball. Easiest way to take the ground game away is get them in a quick 2 score hole.

Northern Illinois pays them a visit in a couple weeks. Their volleyball coach does kind of give off Osborne vibes.

How about before anyone starts talking about "Old Nebraska" and "New Nebraska" they actually beat somebody with a pulse.

The Minny game looked a lot like "Old Nebraska" to me. The Gophers were doing everything they could to give that game away and Nebraska wouldn't or couldn't take it.

It doesn't take a giant mistake or collapse to lose. Look at the number of games Nebraska has lost over the past few seasons by one score or less, look at how often in the last few minutes of a game they have either given up what was the eventual score that beat them or failed to sustain a drive that would have given them the win. Last Thursday against a mediocre at best Minnesota team they did both.
 
Four days is plenty of time to build up that hate of Nebraska. Hope those rotten Husker fans who hung that SAL IS DEAD. GO BIG RED. banner over I-80 sees their team get annihilated this Saturday.

UPDATE:
Jeff Sims is still tied for the lead in most interceptions thrown on the season at 3. He’s now tied with four other players and his 19 attempts remains the fewest. There have been 117 QBs who have attempted 19 or more passes.

A Bowling Green QB tried his hardest to beat Jeff Sims, but he couldn’t quite do it and ended up with only 3 picks thrown on 6/21 passing.
