Colorado v USC - September 30, 2023 - 10am MT, FOX

i believe we will see the Buffs execute better and make fewer mistakes.

i believe that usc is on another level from where we are now.

i also believe that there are ways for CU to win this game, thanks alex grinch.
I mean, hope springs eternal, but y'all just scored 6 on TOSH LUPOI.

Agreed. The blueprint to beat CU ain't hard to find. Unless Lewis is willing to modify the offensive scheme to fit the players strengths CU will be lucky to find two more wins. Scrap the up tempo bull$hit and put in a back that can pick up a blitz. I fear nothing can be done about the run defense however.
"We have one of the best QBs in college football"
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

We have to get a running game going. Not that we'll ever become a running team, but we've got to keep the secondary honest and make it so the defensive front has to do more than check run on the way to the QB. It's way too easy to defend a 1 dimensional offense if you've got the personnel to match up.

They need to stack up some serious weight on the sleds and have them push that **** up and down the field until they are throwing up lol.

It will be interesting to see how they adjust to hopefully play towards their strengths against USC.

I’d like to see more two back sets with Edwards and McCaskill. Edwards can’t be the primary RB to establish a running game, but they also can’t just have him in for passing situations. There needs to be more creativity and misdirection. There is no threat of Shedeur running, so the read option is out, and a straight handoff up the middle from Shotgun hasn’t worked yet.

it will take a huge set of breaks and luck, but will there be any better feeling in the whole world, ever, than beating usc this week? the sheer volume of outrage, disbelief, etc. from their fan base will be enough to power generations of hope for our fanbase.

I'd just like Sasnders to throw away the ball instead of taking 15 yard sacks five times a game.
Yes, yes and yes.

While our Oline will never be great this year, there are things you can do with a less than stellar Oline and still be able to generate offense with our skill players.

Our defense is another matter altogether though.

This is the game I really, really, really wanted to win this year. There were other games I really didn't want to lose, but this is the one win that would mean the most to me.

No doom this week. That well of power is spent. Just ****ing win baby.

Shilo said after the flight back that he injured a kidney and was peeing blood. Anyone see any updates on that?

Improbable or unlikely things happen in sports all of the time. That is the beauty of sports.

Might have been late. He had a big hit on a guy and then got wrecked on a sideline stiff arm/ throw down by the receiver on the next play.

I'm starting to wonder if we'll see any kind of play calling and player personnel adjustments from either the OC or DC.
Time for input from our offensive quality control expert!

Or, maybe lots of input received last two weeks.

Before last week, I would have said our offense would be good enough to not get down by 24+ points. Now, I’m not as certain of that. Giving up points like that to Oregon wasn’t a surprise. What was a surprise was the fact that our offense was absolute trash. There’s a book on this offense, and we need to re-write it quick.
