You can't put your safety alone in a wide zone against Williams and Rice.

Woods missed but so would have almost any safety in the country.

And you can see why Rice left CU and the KD disaster.

This team is not the same one that we saw against TCU
The preparation and discipline in that game was actually the most exciting thing
When you are rebuilding and do not have all the talent yet, you need to be sharp at the little things

This game has felt more competitive, and yet, we’re probably going to lose by more.
Last year we were getting blown out by huge scores, this year we are getting blown out by huge scores.

Difference is this year team have to try to blow us out, last year they did it barely showing up.

I mean we're missing our best player on offense and defense, and also going up against a much much better team that is very likely going to be in the national championship game. Great teams force more mistakes.

You can't use the TCU game to tell how good we were. Our biggest weakness was not exposed in that game. I don't know how many times we have discussed about it

Difference also is that we are seeing that while the talent is massively improved it isn't at all positions and it is tissure paper thin.

We had a huge advantage against TCU in that they had no idea what to expect and didn't know what our weaknesses were that they could take advantage of.

This does seem better than the Oregon game. I feel like there is improvement from the last game. The offensive line looks better for sure.

They need to keep getting a little better every week and then get some talent upgrades in the off season to shore up their D and O fronts and get some depth.
