Question regarding Mizzou/Texas

Which of the two are better?

I think it's Texas personally, the reason I bring this up is because I'm being attacked by an MU "fan" on another board for having Texas higher than them in my own top 25.

I'll post a couple of his quotes here in a sec

Turns out you don't even have to debate it. They play each other.

Think what? Thinking it's retarded for saying for MU has to run the table to
be considered better than Texas? That is being homer? I guess.

It all comes down to you grasping at straws trying to find some reasonable
excuse to put Texas in front of MU.. yet this past weekend really killed that
for ya didnt it?

Its ok, come back with another personal attack instead of a real post..

Oh, gum on the bottem of Tyler Thigpin's shoe > Colorado.

Why does MU have to run the table? How about in two weeks when we play
Texas?

Or are you already planning on MU winning, so your setting even higher standards
for MU? According to you Texas >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> and > MU
yet MU played better than Texas this past week.(and every other week) And yet
your still trying to discredit MU.. There is a word for that

HATER

(My post below)
I dont care who is in front of us, that doesnt bother me. Your joke of an excuse
for it is what does. Im wondering how you can discredit our schedule while
saying nothing about Texas's who you moved ahead of us. We have played,
by far, a harder schedule than Texas. We had one close game, and that was
the first game of the year, vs. a top 25 team, not at home.

Texas strength of schedule: (I'll put it in bold for you, homer) 12th in the nation

Missouri Strength of schedule: 33rd in the nation

I agree, 52 - 3, 69-17, and 42-21 arent convincing... 52-42 over Ill, who scored
a TD on the last play of the game, isnt that bad either.

Question for you homer, what was the score at half against Buffalo?

20-14.

Average margin of victory for Missouri, 33 points a game

Average margin of victory for Texas, 41.25 points a game. Yeah. You fail

Texas' better > Mizzou's Better

Texas' convincing > Mizzou's convincing

Questions about our defense..? Yeah, people said that last year, it only seemed
to effect us agaisnt OK, in which it was more on the offense than the defense
then. The defense looks 10x better this year, Moore isnt the only one making
plays and Gettis is 100% unlike last year. Oh, and for 2 of the 4 games this
year William Moore kinda hasnt played, and yes when your defensive leader
doesnt play you can usually tell... Well, giving up 3 and 21 points in those
games isnt strugging, but according to you it is. The Defense is on the field
way too much to hold teams to 10 points a game.

I would call having a close game at half against Buffalo, would be struggling. And that's what you did. Struggle.

Oh, here's some more.

47th in scoring D
79th in total D
58th in pass efficiency D
24th in rush D

You wanna question our defense? Sure whatever, I can let that go. You can
be naive enough, just like everyone was last year, to think that will slow down
MU. Just dont question our schedule while not bringing it up for any other teams.
MU's oppenents combined record is 8-10, OKs is 8-10, and Texas's is 7-11.
I'll keep going... LSU's is 9-13 (in 5 games), Bamas is 13 - 10 (in 5 games),
Penn. St 9-14 (in 5 games), USC 7-6 (in 3 games), Florida 7-10, Tech 7-10,
and Auburn 9-12 (in 5 games, including a loss to LSU who is 4-0). MU has
no easier schedule, clearly, than any team except Alabama.

Oklahoma's strength of schedule was 19th (Which is better than yours)

Oh and LSU and Bamas strength of schedule really don't matter to me. Bama just took Georgia (better than ANY opponent Mizzou will play all year) to the wood shed and LSU plays in the SEC (best conference in the nation) Beating some tough Auburn and Mississippi state teams

Naive? lmao, this is coming from you, bandwagoner.

I never talked about Mizzouri football before? You know this? I think I went to

more MU football games when Brad Smith, Justin Gage, and Justin Smith played
than I have since we've been "good." No one else talked about MU, so nor did
I. Im not gonna go around making ridiculous threads only for my pleasure like
some people. No cared about MU 3 years ago when Brad Smith was running
circles around defenders, or when Justin Gage was going dual sports... No one
here probably knows that Pinkle screwed Tony Temple over by activating him
for the last game of his freshmen year, in which he was reshirted, which is why
he couldnt come back and play for MU this year. Dont question my fanhood
because I didnt boast about my team when no one cared.

Boast? I was here talking about CU when they were 2-10. Consider your "fanhood" questioned.
I guess I "tried" you again.
And it ended in failure, "A" for effort though I suppose. Well maybe a "B"

Funny how I never saw an MU fan before last year.

He's too stupid to realize this, though. I put in my reasoning as of right now Texas looks more impressive and he is vehement in insisting Mizzou is better. I pointed out I have questions about their defense and he goes running his mouth about shutting down Kneebraska.

I told him, I doubt MU runs the table and he went ape ****.

I was kidding, anyway. Nothing we do as fans is rational. We spend an incredible amount of time debating which team is better, right here on this site, just the week before they play.

I guess the MU fans have every right to be just as irrational as we are. Should be a fun game to watch, Texas and Mizzou. I LOVE college football!

Texas is better. The Texas defense will knock Chase out of the game.
See OU v Mizzou last year. When Chase doesn't have time to throw because his Oline is getting dominated, that offense slows down to manageable proportions. I think UT has the offense to score enough to win even if their D only slows Mizzou down a bit.
