SEC vs. Big XII

Tonight on College Live they had their round table discussion about the SEC vs. Big 12. They discussed who would come out with the better record if the 1's played, the 2's played, etc...

I figured we need to step away from the edge of roof, and don't drink the koolaid just yet. I know we're of course going to be a little biased but if the SEC did play the Big 12, who would win these match-ups in your opinion?

ESPN's panel:

Oklahoma v. Alabama (Tied 2-2 on the panel)
Mizzou v. LSU
Texas v. Vanderbilt
Texas Tech v. Georgia
Kansas v. Florida
Okie St v. Auburn
Colorado v. S. Carolina (Unanimous?)
Kansas St. v. Kentucky
Nebraska v. Ole Miss
Baylor v. Tennessee
Iowa St. v. Arkansas
Tex A&M v. Miss St

The panel had it scored SEC 9-2-1

I have it 6-6. Tell me who your picks are?

Oklahoma vs. Alabama
Mizzou vs. LSU
Texas vs. Vanderbilt
Texas Tech vs. Georgia
Kansas vs. Florida
Okie Lite vs. Auburn (Honestly, even as an Auburn fan, not seeing how Auburn could score enough points to stay in the game)
Colorado vs. South Carolina (Their defense would give us fits)
Kansas State vs. Kentucky
Nebraska vs. Ole Miss
Baylor vs. Tennessee
Iowa State vs. Arkansas
Texas A&M vs. Miss St.

Assuming that these games were all neutral-site games, I won't argue with BB's list.

Oklahoma v. Alabama
Mizzou v. LSU
Texas v. Vanderbilt
Texas Tech v. Georgia
Kansas v. Florida
Okie St v. Auburn (Not Sure, is Okie light for real?)
Colorado v. S. Carolina (Their O is the worst)
Kansas St. v. Kentucky
Nebraska v. Ole Miss (Ole miss could score against these pink shirts)
Baylor v. Tennessee (not sure here Tenn is horrible, could have problems with baylor's QB)
Iowa St. v. Arkansas (another toss up, both suck)
Tex A&M v. Miss St

Big 12-4 SEC-5 ?-3

Oklahoma v. Alabama

Baylor v. Tennessee
Iowa St. v. Arkansas
Tex A&M v. Miss ST

I have a hard time believing A&M is really that bad. I know they look like dog sh!t right now, but there is talent there. I also have a hard time believing we'd lose to South Carolina. They're not that good. Neither are we, but I still think we're better. Overall 5-7. The SEC is still the gold standard of college football.

I'd really love to see some of these games. Wouldn't you? Missouri & LSU would be epic. I'd love to see OU & Alabama play.

Texass-Georgia also would be great

To get a fair matchup you;d have to rank each team in their conference at the end of conference play; Vandy is not the 3rd best team.

Believe it. A&M is bad and they might not be much better next year. Their offensive and defensive lines are both terrible, their three-year starter at QB has been injured most of the year, and the talent they have at the skill positions on offense is extremely young.
