KU To Try & Not "Rip our Fu**ing Heads Off"

Meh, **** 'em. I say they should do it. One of my saddest moments after having to leave the student section was no longer being able to shout **** 'em up, **** 'em up, go CU! This drive to be "classy" is ****ing stupid.

If my boys end up going to CU, they're going to get made fun of their first game in the student section. I'm teaching them the cheer goes "Buffaloes, Buffaloes, go CU!".:lol:

We changed it to "rough 'em up, rough 'em up, go CU" so at least it's close.

Yeah, somehow saying it the old way in the non-student section doesnt the same effect with my wife and kids. :lol:

Wherever I sit in Folsom, the people around me are all saying f'em up, f'em up GO CU, even the little old ladies.

that's about all i hear too...unless there are little kids around which I then always hear the parents yell really loud "Buffaloes Buffaloes Go CU" as if they're trying to drown out the real words

my screen name came about because i always thought a BETTER version of the cheer would be:

Rough em' up Buffaloes
GO CU!

RuffBuff was born. :smile:

I am going to start the motion to ban that chant... It is inappropriate! Who's with me?

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

PS- Since it wasn't so loud towards the end of the game last saturday I could hear what the cheerleaders chant, "Buffaloes, Buffaloes, Go CU"

The atmosphere at sporting events now is not the wholesome experience I remember as a child. The way people speak in and around the stands makes me think twice about allowing my kids to experience the games the way my parents did.

Shoot, the worst I ever heard as a kid was the chant...

"Ex-lax, Re-lax, open up the hole!"

Of course that was in the Mallory days when you would also see banners stating... "New York Life is Better Coached."

Band Cheer #3 is how I know that particular song/chant. I think it's very interesting how the words change sometimes. On Pearl Street for a Stampede it's almost always "Buffaloes" but in the stadium sometimes you hear "**** 'em up" and I've recently started hearing "Fuffaloes". That tends to vary based on how rowdy the students are.

Random Side Note: If you are ever watching a game on TV and we start playing it, you can almost always hear the crowd and because of how our microphone is placed it is almost always "**** 'em up".

my grandpa taught me:

"kick em in the right knee, kick em in the left knee, kick em in the we need a touchdown, right now!" :lol:

-or-

"florida oranges, arizona cactus, we play the fuskers just for the practice" :lol:

behavior and language at sporting events is getting worse...but it isn't limited to just sporting events....i don't have any kids and one of my biggest pet peeves is coversational cussing....just classless, ignorant and annoying.

I prefer this on, learned from my grandpa:

"Rickity-rackety-rin, kick 'em in the shin; rickity-rackety-ree, kick 'em in the knee; rickity-rackety-rass, kick 'em in the other knee" :thumbsup:

I thought it was Rough 'em up, Rough 'em up, GO CU!.........At least that is what I am chanting now that I don't sit with the students.

When I was at CU, we had a cheer that went:

Fuk em up, fuk em up we don't care.
We've got a hospital right over there!!

A well-placed **** **** or **** can really do wonders on the impact of a statement. Fake swear words ****ing suck.

OK no more "harass them, harass them, make them relinquish the ball"

:yell: It's time to "Tear THEIR FUC**NG Head off!!"

:boxing::gun:

KU student section was pretty harsh today.
After Cody's safety, "You let down the whole team"
Hypolite was heckled all game.

As Hypolite should have been after that terribly violent late hit on Reesing...talk about ripping someone's ****ing head off. Oh wait, I watched it again--it turns out he tapped his little tummy and Reesing fell down.
