Purple Pussies Defense

So if there is ever a time to come out of it and get some offense going it's this week:

Kjuco is last in the Big 12 in Defense giving up 442 yards per game. They suck equally at stopping the rush and stopping the pass.

A&M passed for 419 yards, TT passed for 491 yards.
La. Laffayette ran for 335 yards & Louisville ran for 303 yards.

This will be the ultimate statement of our offense & Cody. NO EXCUSES, if you can't put up points on these guys then things are worse than I think.

Honestly, I am really concerned. If the Buffs can't get over on the K-State non-qualifier academy, we're toast the rest of the way.....

I agree, offense needs to get going vs this defense.

200 is the #. We need 200 rushing yards to have a chance to win this game. Or 400 passing yards. I just think the rushing yards are possible.

I think we can and will get 200 yds if scott can play for 4 quarters. Speedy will give them fits and hopefully josh gets 6-7 caatches and our TE's get involved.

Don't necessarily agree about Scott...but I think Speedy alone could go for 200 yards...i've seen a little bit of Kjuco and they are terrible tacklers, to the point where Speedy could break 2 or 3 for 50+ yards

It would be nice to see him get his first td this week.

:iagree:

I really think you guys will win this one, but if your offense can't get going against these guys then you have some serious problems.

Ball control. There should be a couple opportunities for Cody off of play action, but we need to run the ball down their ****ing throats.

The devastating 10-12 sideline pattern is about the only play action we see these days...

On second thouht.....

K-state has given up over 400 yds passing in their last 2 games. Their rush defense has given up 136 and 125 respectively in the past 2.

Seems like they are a better run defense than pass defense.

Problem is,cu's passing offense has been awful the last 3 weeks and running has been spotty.

Either cu breaks out and scores a bunch or,our lack of a good passing game will play into their hands and it goes from bad to worse.

Your first thought was correct. Let's take this opportunity to get our RBs significant carries.

The run stats in the past few games are a little skewed since one game was against Texas Tech whose running game is the 1-5 yard short passes....the A&M game got out of hand rather quickly forcing them to give up the run completely in the 2nd half....A&M got 100 yards rushing in the first half

I know i'd like to see 20 carries for speedy and scott each. My concern is can we run the ball on them? We should be able to considering louisville and LA laffeyette went for 300 and 274 on them.

We better, because at this point,I don't think we can beat k-state throwing the ball with our anemic passing game despite k-states terrible pass defense.

Thanks for the info, I should have mentioned that they played tech.

I think both our pass defense and run defense equally suck. JMO.

Well, we're last in the Big 12 in every offensive statistical category, so this game is weakness against weakness.

The worst offense in the conference [nation] vs. the worst defense in the conference [nation].

The incompetence bowl! A showdown to see which of these two outstandingly atrocious units can manage to be the most ineffective.

Be careful of the purple pussy defense. The may be stronger then you think.

They may claw and bite some Buffalo a$$!
