Is Mizzou winnable?

The game will be respectable, but a loss is all but a certainty.

Too slow on defense

Still trying to find an identity on offense

Oh and for those that haven't been paying attention The gap between the Big 12 North and South has returned to normal. I hate saying this but Nebraska needs to get their act together eventually if the North is going to be taken seriously long term.

Even though misery has proved to be severely over-rated, I would still say our chances are slim and none.

I know this. Our D is much better than Mizzou's and OU's. Man, TU didnt scorre that much on us.

They were hyped too much considering the teams they've played but maybe Texas is just that good this year and now confidence is at an all time high for the Horns. It's like playing the Rockies during last years playoff run.

anyone can beat anyone.

but, our Buffs are seriously outmatched v. mizzery.

if it weren't on the road, i might be able to visualize some kind of an upset, but right now i am having a hard time seeing CU even staying close. ut taking them apart is irrelevant unless they flat out quit after this or they are so dinged that their play suffers.

If the offense can put up points, which unless you're playing CSU, not happening. Give it to the D, they are taking on the winning attitude but you can't expect them to hold Mizzou to under 14 points (which is apparently a pattern).

WVU: 14 points in regulation (17-14 final).
Texas: 14-38
Kansas: 14-30
K-state: 14-13
:wow:

I may be drunk, but...

Give them a three-headed monster of Hansen, Ballanger and Hawkins, and we may have a winner...

I don't know, but dang, Texas is good......

Texas is scary good. Credit Brown for bringing in Muschamp to shore up their D. It wins championships. However, they'll still find a way to choke it up before it is all said and done. Too bad they don't play KSU this year.

But the Longhorns could have. They stuck to a clock munching running game. UT could have run up more points if they wanted to.

I'd feel better about Mizzou if CU would have generated >35 points against K-State, and if the game were in Boulder.

Mizzou in Columbia coming in at 0-2 in the conference will be looking for blood next week. They have a lot to prove. Mizzou put a 55-10 whooping on CU last year with basically the same offense.

Beating Mizzou would be a major step forward and a key road game win in the conference. But I'm not holding my breath. Not with a green true freshman QB or a platoon system.

yeah you're drunk. With Hansen at QB we can run the spread the way it's meant to be run, and we have a chance to keep things respectable. However I think we all know that missouri is better than us and we have to play out of our minds to end up winning. The scary thing is how many possessions baby hawk is gonna get, because you know daddy wants his son to still be starting QB.

It could be a good game...could...but unless we learn how to kick field goals which in turn keeps momentum and pressure on opponents...we won't stand a chance. How come Goodman is so Badman?

Anyhting is possible, but i'd say a big NO.

Think they'll be a tad pissed off and want to take out their frustration on cu?

I think there's a chance that Mizzou might lose the game, but I don't think we can outright win it.

Any game is winnable. Is it likely? No. Doesn't mean I won't hope for and predict a win. :smile2:

Yeah, it is. They'll either be mentally fragile or really pissed after 2 straight losses. I hope the fragile side of the family shows up.
