Offense still stinks but at least Hansen gave us some life in the 1st half of the game.. Speedy was good and this offensive line that everyone keeps telling me stinks and can't block did a pretty good job today..

Incredible job by the defense.. I never thought they would hold KjSU to 13 points in a game.. Amazing jobs guys..

I'd stick to the 2 QB system until we can run a lot of the playbook with Hansen.. Have to admit, although I'm a Little Hawk backer, Hansen has more talent with his feet and his arm that its only a matter of time before he's the full-time starter..

Good feeling getting off the losing streak.. Proud of the team..

Definitely a great win. Still a lil concerned about the play calling, but at least for the night I'll let Helfrich slide

I really wish they would have stuck with the 2QB system more tonight. It's obvious the playbook is limited with Hansen, and it seemed to catch up with the offense later on in the game. I'd like to see 'em stick with it until Hansen has more of a solid grip on the playbook.

I didn't like the 2nd half start.. I would have started Little Hawk and they were putting Hansen in some really tough situations throwing the ball in its endzone.. I thought that was a really shaky.. Other than that, I thought the 2QB system was handled pretty well by the coaches..

Good job by the coaching staff on putting Hansen in. I think this proves to some doubters (me) that they will put the best people in to win the game. If Hansen can pick up the offense, he might be dangerous.

If we were any two SEC teams this would have been considered the best defensive game of the season.

You know, I think they were going to stick with lil hawk and then what happened? The ball got swatted down on a Hawk pass. I think that's when it was cemented that this team will eventually be turned over to Hansen. Regardless of how good the play is, or how wide open the receiver is, there's always going to be a chance that if a 6'3 and up DL gets tied up in the line that he can still be as effective just putting his hands in the air when Hawk is in to throw.

They got in a bad situation on that first drive of the second half on a PF and then a suspect holding call.

Since this is the first week that he was not the scout team QB, I think he will pick up alot in the few couple of weeks. Bally stepped up and was the scout team QB (since he most closely resembled Josh Freeman) this week. Kudos to Matt.

Thumbs down to those booing Cody coming into the game. I wanted Hansen too, but for someone with the class Cody has--that was crap. Very ashamed of that behavior. Anyone know Codys email? he needs to know that some people recognise he is being a team player. Huge for this team for him to do that. Hansen may have more talent, but Cody is still the leader.

:yeahthat:

I made a point to cheer every time Cody came back in. He was the first one to congratulate Hansen on the good plays and he was also giving him pointers on the sideline after the bad plays. He's the model teammate and we are lucky to have him in the black and gold. If Hansen does end up becoming the starter, we will certainly have one hell of a back up.

Seriously look at Cullen Harper, he got benched and whined about it. Cody might not be the answer to our offense but he is a good leader I belive he would do anything for this team without question.
Not sure how the team played since didn't get to actually view the game, did the line actually give Cody and Hansen time to throw?

A large quantity of the fans at Folsom on any given Saturday are EXTREMELY ignorant when it comes to general football knowledge. I'm sure most of the people who were booing when Cody came back into the game were thinking, "they're benching Hansen and putting Cody back in for the rest of the game, this sucks!" and not "they're rotating the quarterbacks, and I don't like this part of the rotation."

Still, maybe boo the team as they go in for halftime if they have been stinking it up (but I feel those boos are for the coaches, and really, don't feel you should boo your team ever. Refs, yes. Opposing team, yes.) but to boo in a way that pretty much means you are booing a kid who may not have the physical tools of a big time D1 QB, but has unbelievable class and character in a time that CU needed it, is uncalled for. This is just my opinion, but while I wanted Cody out and Hansen in, Cody deserved better than to get booed. I am just really dissapointed in that.

People booing cody should have their faces pushed through the back of their skull.

Anyway, I think cu finishes 1-4.
