Watching CSU against BYU...

and I am sure this will get me all sorts of neg reps but they are LIGHT YEARS ahead of us right now. What a difference 7 games and coaching makes.

I look at this differently. I agree that CSU would beat us soundly at this moment in time. I view the disparity of our two teams' progress more indicative of the damage inflicted by our unusually high number of injuries.

You couldn't be more correct... People here like to blame injuries, but our 2nd and 3rd string athletes have more talent than CSU could dream of and look what they almost did tonight.

I'm starting to think BYU is vastly overrated. They have been really struggling the last 4 weeks, starting from the week before the TCU game.

Losing to Nebraska is going to be miserable this year. We are gunna get absolutely steamrolled.

How did this team manage to score over 60 points last year? God. If we scored 21 in a game this year I would be ecstatic.

So I take it you're ecstatic then?

I was implying scoring 21 points presently. As in, sometime in the past 5 weeks or for any of the three remaining games. That is pretty clear in the context of my post.

I know that's extremely difficult to understand but maybe next time try a bit harder.

No, I'm pretty sure what you said was, "God. If we scored 21 in a game this year I would be ecstatic." In fact, I'm certain that's what you said. We have scored 21 points in a game this year (three times in fact), ergo, you are currently ecstatic. This is a pretty clear cut string of logic.

Should we continue this semantic debate, or are we both growing tired of it?

Alright, we're done here. I want to get out of this thread before someone puts up one of those popcorn guys or a "this topic sucks" smiley.

I don't use the 'This topic sucks' in a thread. I figure once the the picture of Ralph Malph appears in a thread, that smiley would be rather redundant.:smile2:

I would say it's more a case of CSU's playmakers being upperclassmen and much more experienced. On a side note, anyone see Joey Porter get a 15 yarder for chest bumping Gartrell Johnson after his go-ahead TD? Hilarious!
