Last week I said CU looked like Baylor...

Since they went to Missouri, and simply look like they wanted to get the game over with.

I apologize to the Baylor faithful. Baylor went to Missouri and gave them all they wanted and more. Baylor competed, CU did not. Don't even begin to tell me that Baylor has better talent.

When CU was looking for a Barnett replacement, I suggested Briles. He is getting some real mileage out of what he was given at Baylor. Nine games does not really give a great measuring stick of what he may eventually do, but he looks pretty good right now.

I am not saying CU should have hired Briles, merely comparing two lesser lights in the big 12 to each other. They both played Missouri on back-to-back weeks, and the results speak volumes.

I hope, and pray, that CU is suffering from a spate of injuries. The second problem is an offensive coordinator whose deficiencies have been recounted numerous times. I won't repeat them here, as I agree with the assessment that he is not getting the job done.

Tyler Hansen has passed the spoon feeding stage. It is time to play him exclusively. We have seen what Cody can, and more importantly, cannot do. Sticking him into the game now looks purely like a "keep Dan off the couch" move.

If CU does not beat Iowa State, I've fear a wholesale collapse that may or may not be fixed next year. Why in the world they are not just lining DS up with a full back and letting the bowling ball run downhill is an absolute mystery to me, other than the offense was apparently set up to run exclusively through the quarterback position. It is beginning to have every appearance of a system set up to get an offensive coordinator on the right side of the ledger with certain other parties......

If Colorado doesn't beat ISU, I agree with a collapse at least for this year. We don't win that one and our morale is completely in the pooper, we lose the last two without a fight.

Baylor definitely has much better talent at the QB position. That kid's for real.

I won't argue that point. But really, what other BU player would play for CU, Walton, probably, Pawelek, probably, Gettis, for sure, beyond that I can't think of anybody....

Based on the little that I've seen them play this year, I would say the talent's about even and that nearly all of them would be playing at CU given our injury bug this year.
