2026 WBB Recruit Profile Index

TALL possible G (although assume could now be a W/ F after a growth spurt?), 6'3" student athlete from South Dakota.

A recruiting summary and thread from a Univ. of South Dakota fan site (Includes a list of her offers, stats for individual games from her past high school season, etc.) - https://usdcoyotesports.proboards.com/thread/3227/class-2026-recruiting

Per https://mitchellnow.com/news/236632...ol-girls-basketball-all-state-teams-selected/ , she was All-State this past season in her school's (A) Division. (Also per that, her HS stat averages for the year were "21.3 ppg, 11.5 rpg, 3.9 apg, 96 blocks". )

(Per https://sports.yahoo.com/ashlyn-koupal-picks-third-class-234600310.html , already, (some how) is a 3 time state champion in the high jump (A division) after her freshman ?year. (Looks like their 2024 Championships are this weekend. Best wishes to her. Per https://www.maxpreps.com/sd/wagner/wagner-red-raiders/volleyball/23-24/stats/ , also led her school's volleyball teams in kills, kill % and digs in her latest (sophomore) season in that sport.)

Looks like she's been on a recent visit to CU -

Coach Payne and company look to have offered this 5'10" SG (also PG per HUDL) from Ventura, California, who in addition to playing at her high school (Buena) also plays club ball with WhyNot Premiere. (As often happens, hard to confirm commitments for sports other than MBB and football, but since the school paper article I've linked to below said that, as of late May, she had already received offers from ASU, Gonzaga and UC- Santa Barbara, makes sense the Buffs have offered. Also, HoopGurlz has her as the #53 ranked 2026 recruit as a 4 star 91 score student-athlete.)

Prep stats per Maxpreps - https://www.maxpreps.com/ca/ventura...asketball/girls/stats/?careerid=sf7ii73o6chee
(Per those, she already led her team in scoring at over 20 pts. per game last season as a sophomore while shooting 36% from 3.)

Prep hoop players from that region get such good coaching that I always upgrade my expectations of them.

Posting here since I don't believe there's a 2027 thread at this time - looks like the Buffs have offered 5'8" PG Brookslee Colvin from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. She already was a major contributor as a prep frosh player to her HS team, which won a state championship. (From a couple things I saw, looks like she's already in demand, with schools like Michigan and Wisconsin having already offered her in the summer of 2023, so before she'd even started high school.)

VERY Incomplete stats (only showing a few of her games for her frosh (2023/24 season.) - https://www.maxpreps.com/id/coeur-d...asketball/girls/stats/?careerid=3v4dohbflfd66

After her team won the state championships, she was named the defensive player of the tourney - https://www.idahosports.com/blogs/blog.aspx?contentid=3054
(Her older sister Teegan, who has signed and will be at UNLV this coming year, was named the MVP.)

I missed this one until I saw the 2nd tweet below. The Buffs looked to have offered back last December this highly coveted 5 star 2026 6'2" F who currently attends and competes at DeSoto HS (DeSoto, TX, in the Dallas area), while also playing club ball with "SA Finest".

A couple recruiting lists, one of which have her ranked 10th and the other 17th for her class:

A couple recruiting pages:

Looks like the team / school had a visit from this 5'9" CG from Ankeny, Iowa who they offered in May. (In addition to high school, she plays club ball with
ETG Midwest Elite 3SSB.

Per the below, looks like CU has made her final 5.

Looks like an offer went out a couple days ago to this 5'10"-6'0" SG/PG currently at Valor Christian who also competes with the Hardwood Evolution club program .

High school stats per Maxpreps - https://www.maxpreps.com/co/highlan...asketball/girls/stats/?careerid=48v9vei2knp33

Per the below, she was on an official visit at CU recently (assume this past weekend?).
(Looked at her updated stats from the Maxpreps link above and this past season looks to have one of the best shooting percentages I have seen from a prep guard, with her 23.9 points per game coming from 52% shooting from the field overall, including 41% from 3 (while averaging over 3 makes per game), while also shooting 85% from the line. She also averaged 3.3 steals per game on the defensive end.)

Per her post below, the Buffs may have offered a 5'10" 2027*** PG. She is Elizabeth Lee, who attends Tom Glenn HS in Leander, Texas, while also playing club ball with Houston Hoops.
(***There's no 2027 thread as I write this, but looks like it may be time for a mod to add one for both WBB and MBB?)

The team looks to have picked up its 2nd 2026 commitment. She is 6'2" wing / combo guard Cail Jahnke, who attends and competes with St. Michael-Albertville HS in St. Michael, Minnesota, while also playing club ball with North Tartan Girls Basketball Booster Club, Inc. out of Minneapolis. (Coach Payne included the below Instagram post in her Instagram story, so I'd put this in the confirmed category.)
(As always, I'll add a separate thread for her soon, which will include more detail.)

Welcome and congrats to her!

This player was not on my radar. I went on her instagram and went back to her list of finalists. CU was not listed as a finalist.

CU did something right over the summer.

Per an Instagram post she made today, she has chosen to go to Utah.

Best wishes to her.

Went and clicked into her Instagram, and looks like she committed to Creighton a couple months ago.

Before this thread began, way back in March 2023, I had posted what I'm quoting below in the 2025 recruiting thread about a Buff offer for this 2026 student-athlete. I'm moving it here now as, per the Instagram post at the bottom of this post, she's just been or is currently on an official visit in Boulder.

Note - Per https://www.espn.com/high-school/girls-basketball/recruiting/rankings/scnext100girls , ESPN has her as the #9 overall recruit in her class, so assume she is one of it not the top Buff priorities for the 2026 class.

This is related to a 2026 (college) freshman, but since that thread doesn't exist yet, the below is a Denver Post article on an already highly in-demand 2026 Denver area student-athlete. The article does say CU (along with many other P5 schools) has already offered. She is 6'2" F Brihanna (Bri) Crittendon, who currently attends and competes with Riverdale Ridge HS in Thornton, CO. Per the Maxpreps stats page linked to below, she is already averaging 31.3 points and 10 rebounds per game AS A FRESHMAN. Per her twitter account header, she plays club ball with "Colorado lockdown elite-NM clippers".

I hope she commits but I wonder where CU will get the money it will take to get her. Is the boyfriend enough?

Crossing my fingers. She'd be a HUGE get, and obviously not just because she's local. C'mon Bri, sign up !

Did just want to bump this thread as the early bball signing period (for both genders) for the 2026/27 academic year/ season frosh class begins this Wednesday (11/12).

Note that, per https://www.ncsasports.org/recruiting/managing-recruiting-process/national-signing-day, basketball, like football***, still has 2 signing periods - an early one for which this signing cycle is from November 12-19, and a "regular period" that begins April 15th, 2026.
(***Just to avoid any potential confusion, football's early signing period begins later (December 3rd).)

(Note - I did just also post the identical above into the men's bball 2026 recruiting thread since it, obviously, also applies to that team.)
