Finally, Colorado, what is the pitch, and is your relationship with them good?

“My relationship with them is great. I talk to them every day. The pitch is to come in, make an impact, and be a versatile forward as they see me.”

Saw him & Isiah Johnson on TV at Football game. Bynum interview I listened to, he’s super positive and smiling kid. Really sees himself as a wing at three, and interviewer had to convince him that he’d have to play up to 4 at times. Listed as Center, with his huge wing-span, but can’t see him going to school that wants to play him at five. Iowa & Nebraska offenses seem appealing to him. But we might be his 3rd choice right now?

I know he's listed as a center, but I have to imagine that's because he plays in Nebraska where that height pretty much guarantees you play the five.

I'd pitch the fact that Tad took guys with similar skills (Roberson, King, Bey, Walker) and turned them into NBA players.

probably no longer in on Bynum given the class is up to 4 commits now? (unless one is a walk-on)
We technically have 5 open schollies. Though, that is assuming Harrison was a one-year deal, and Tad may still want to retain one.

Class is missing a front-line player.

It's my understanding Harrison got one this year because we had one. It's not a long-term commitment by any means.

Do you remember if the number of MBB scholarships is increasing for 2025 or if it's after that? I don't know what the actual scholarship limit is for 2025.

Officially 7 open spots, but after seeing how well Carrington played at Scrimage, maybe Tad takes 6 & gives Carrington a second year on scholy next year? Or keeps 1 open?

Schools can decide if they want to use all 15 scholys. New rules allows them to spread scholys out also, so could keep 13 full scholys & give 2 partial? But hopefully school approves paying for all 15? Tad seems to want to give more time to guys early, to not lose them in portal? But maybe we lose Courtney Anderson to portal, as he may not be in rotation this year?

I keep thinking key for Bynum may be where he feels like fast, versatile offensive play at both forward positions seems most likely? So Nebraska, CU & maybe Iowa & Oregon?

From article below, on Oregon:
They just say versatility, getting stronger. They think of me as more of a 3. 4-3, definitely not playing the five. Just shooting. My shooting has gotten way better the last time they seen me. So yeah.”

Bynum said he’ll probably cut down his options after taking the visit to Oregon. As for a decision timeline?

“I might be [signing early], but I don’t know yet,” Bynum said. “I got to see. I still got some visits setting up, so I got to see.”
