Until I saw Joe Paterno's postgame presser. All I could think was, is there an oxygen tank under the table?

 They had they camera on him in his press box right after they lost and someone had to help him out of his chair and walk out. He is the face of Penn State and I think even though he doesn't do as much anymore he is going to be stubborn and stay there until his health wont allow him to.

From what you observed, he may already be there. I hope he does not try to hang on too long and become an embarrassment to Penn State.:sad1:

Embarrassment? Last time I checked they only had 1 loss which was on a fluke INT. He also hurt himself attempting a friggen onside kick before the first game. Name me 1 other 83 year old who would even come close to attempting that. JoPa will be to PSU what Bryant was to Bama. Same goes for Bowden at FSU.

At least Joe Pa is in the box and not on the sidelines. I think they have EMT people stationed outside the box just in case.

Bryant is a legend to Bama folk. JoPa is and always will be the face of PSU

I didnt understand the 'will be' part of your post. I thought it was a given that JoPa was already one of the faces of CFB's Mount Rushmore. There is something to be said for continuity.

As is the usual case with my posts, it is misconstrued. I only meant in the near future. Just hope he knows when the time to retire is.

I still think about a boss I had that said "The key to retiring is to do it before everyone hopes you will." This boss was there when he said it.
