Texas and Florida, because I think OU will beat TT and Texas will go to the Big 12 title game and beat misery, and I think Florida wins their last 3 and then beats Bama in the SEC CG.

That´s the big question ... is a win against Tech enough for OU to leapfrog Texas in the BCS?

OU's SOS is much tougher the last 3 games (including CCG). I think its OU-Florida.

OU beats Tech and is put at #3 in the BCS while Texas is #4. Florida cruises the rest of the year.

That could happen but it would be bull**** if it did.

Texas beat OU by 10 points.

OU/Bama.

Florida is beatable. Bama has all the tools. The only caveat to that is that Florida has the better QB. Tebow could put that game on his shoulders.

OU will get massive BCS points by beating OSU and Tech to finish off the year, followed by a repeat beat-down of the tiggers in the CCG. Tejas gets left out of the picture due to their loss at Tech and the three-way tie that ensued.

Let's assume that Oklahoma and Texas win out, and that Tech loses to Oklahoma but wins the rest of their games. In a situation where Tech beat Texas, who beat Oklahoma, who beat Tech, who goes to the Big XII Championship game?

The rule is that the highest rated team in the BCS poll would win the South... and go to the Big 12 ship.

At which point that team will lose to Missouri, pushing the 2nd place finisher in the South into the mNC game, Mizzou into another BCS bowl, and the 1st and 3rd place finishers in the south into Christmas week bowls against teams that barely finished over .500. At this point the BCS officially dies.

Hmm... yes, I like this plan.

That is eventually going to happen.... if not this year soon. I am rooting for that scenario.... you have to think that coaches like Stoops, Meyer, Brown, Saban, Carroll etc.... won't stand for a championhip game that can allow a team to sit back and get in by default..... (ie nebraska 2001). Don't give me this BS that a team that get's there wins it by their overall performance. You can't judge overall performance when you have a different number of games being played by conference champions and VERY different levels of non-conference games.

I don't care what anyone says.... the fact that there are conference championship's in 3 BCS conferences and not the other three is the BIGGEST issue in the BCS title game.... the second biggest problem is non-conference schedules.

The only reason that 3 conferences choose to have CCG's is because they're 12-team conferences and they don't play a full conference schedule, and it's a big revenue generating event that doesn't necessarily produce a true conference champion. The Big East and Pac-10 play a full schedule due to their size and therefore don't need a conference title game. And the Big 10, well, they're a mess because not only can they not count, they only play an 8-game conference schedule and still don't play a CCG. In their defense, I think there's some rule that requires a conference to have at least 12 teams in order to have a CCG.

If you're going to require everyone everyone to play a CCG, then the conference sizes need to be increased to a minimum of 12 across the board. The better solution would be to reduce the conference sizes to 8 or 10 teams each, play a full conference schedule and eliminate the CCG's altogether. That way every conference would produce a true conference champion.
