Somebody get me a mirror!
The b_walk curse is lifted mutha****ers!
Prayers for you today! I wish you all the best.I joined AB back during "The Rise" season but have followed the Buffs for several decades. I know the season has several winnable games left, but last night's victory was particularly sweet. I wish I could have been there in person, but I just don't have the stamina yet. Three weeks ago during a routine doctor's visit, they found a benign mass in my left atrium - apparently it's been there for years with no symptoms. Within a week I had open heart surgery to remove the mass, was in ICU for a week, and am now home recovering. My prognosis is excellent with the doctors saying that I should be able to do everything I've done before after being fully recovered. So as I sat home watching the final seconds tick off the clock, I'd be lying if I said it wasn't dusty in my living room. So many lows for this program. And now we're going bowling. And I'll be there. So much to be thankful for!

That’s awesome/scary/awesome again! Kinda came across that way, didn't it? Well...the thread title resonated with me.Way to make it all about you.
J/K
Glad you're on the mend and the prognosis is good. You can get back to Folsom next year to cheer on Juju.
Ralphie needs to be retired. That first half walk was embarrassing![]()
It's a bummer Ralphie didn't run after halftime, another reason late starts suk.
Proud to be a Buff fan today this could be the start of a whole new era of Colorado football. We deserve to celebrate. It has literally been Hell for years. Torturing us and our families.
GO BUFFS !!
One of the all time posts
Theres no way a 10-2 team coached by Prime is not in the discussion for the playoff.Really, the only questions are whether CU can find a path to the Big 12 Championship game or a path to the playoffs.
Nah. But it was hilarious for someone to post that reaction.Kinda came across that way, didn't it? Well...the thread title resonated with me.
And I should be able to attend the last two home games!
Congrats. But oof, not a good team to support if you’ve got heart issues.I joined AB back during "The Rise" season but have followed the Buffs for several decades. But is it really? We still can’t “take a moment to appreciate…” prior. To infer the curse is lifted, it would mean we could freely use the phrase, or some variation of the intention prior to the actual achievement - which I think we can all agree we’re not going to do.The b_walk curse is lifted mutha****ers!
And being bowl eligible prior to a walkoff field goal (either way) on thanksgiving weekend is pretty impressive.![]()
One mission down - bowl eligible!
Two years ago, this would have been a pipe dream, just to have been eligible. Even after the second game this season, it kind of seemed like a long shot. The team and staff have shown some resilience, and improvement. This wasn’t the case with teams since the rise.
This is fantastic!!
Welcome home. You are free now. Just don’t do it again.
Welcome back, my man!
