A quitter and a new kids fan?!? The Fuskers must be proud

You know the trophy they gave him was one of those plastic ones from Wal-Mart.

Don't anyone tell him! O.K!

 No worse than Jimmy Buffet tho.

You go to Hell. You go to Hell and DIE!!!!

Ok, so that's not a standard parrot-head response, which would be more along the lines of "hey man, chill out". But I will not stand idly by and see you besmirch the good name of Jimmy Buffett by equating him to the New Kids on the Block.

O.K.

It's fun to throw Crouch under a bus for attending a concert that most of us wouldn't go to.

He like most of us, have done or said things that he (we) probable wish he (we) could have "do overs" on, as when we were kids. We need to back off him some, he has grown and matured through the years. He is an O.K. individual from what I have seen and read about him the last year or so. I bet not many of us even have any kind of personal friendship with him, let alone have ever met him.

Just one question: How many Heisman winners does CU have on the list? That individual(s) if there is one has a tall order to live up to in the game of life once the Heisman was awarded to him.

Give me negative reps. if you want but I had to say what is right.

Good luck today with todays game!

Our Heisman winner handled it nicely. Salaam was drafted by the Bears and smoked pot until they released him. Your point?

Also, if you review the thread, you weren't the most supportive of husker fans to your last Heisman winner, either.

You are right. What the hell was I thinking? Jimmy Buffett is worse than New Kids.

WTF is wrong with you? Jimmy Buffet is awesome. His music goes great with being drunk on the beach. Unless you have something against having a good time at beaches and tropical paradises how can you not even like a couple of his songs?

He's a Lieutenant. Just like Captain Winters is a Major. Dude, you should know this stuff. :smile2:

Yeah, Lt. Spears (oops, Captain Spears) did hand him the promotion at the church in Foy. But I thought he was more of a badass as the Company First Sergeant than he was at the platoon NCO or as a commissioned officer. Good point though!

Yeah, nobody would want to get their picture taken wearing something goofy, would they. I mean, how embarassing.

Yuppies dressed like parrots is just the tip of the iceberg, bro. Havent even got to the cheesy sesame street style music. :sad1:
