Our "CU" commercial on TV tonight...

Anyone see our CU commercial about the university tonight during the game at halftime? The logo they used was the old one with bold print and no lame italics. I wonder if this is a sign of things to come and when the Nike contract expires we go back to our more traditional scheme?

I haven't really walked around on campus too often in the past few years but I know there are some "ralphies" that they can't change.

What? That violinist from OSU didn't make you want to pack up and move to Stillwater?

You guys are quote fixated on this nike/logo/italics/shoulder thingy. Personally I like the unis and italics and if Nike give us $$$$ then I like that too. Bring on the florescent green unis!!!!! There being way too conservative with the changes.

No but the fact that they make body armor may be enough to get me to leave the Flatiorns.

Can you imagine a Colorado elected official securing a $3M homeland security grant for something like this?

the university still uses the blocked logo on it's official communication. i think the italic one is just the AD. but, to your point about campus, the pool in the rec center is still Fairbanks blue and gold....so, yeah, some things are a little slow to change.
