Look, it's tough to argue with Stoops' record at OU--but isn't "Big Game Bob" a bit of a stretch considering his recent string of BCS Bowl letdowns?

From memory: LSU, USC, Boise State, WVU. Did I get them all?

I'm not complaining about the losses, just the nickname.

you are quite correct. big game bob got his nickname from the word go, and what he accomplished right away at oklahoma.

hence, the reason people have said he has lost his touch, and also the reason ubt just said he was "back."

60-2 at home :wow:

the guy can coach.

and the support structure around him is amazing. i wish our Buffs had that kind of support in terms of money, academics, and everything else.

he's an arrogant bastard, no doubt, but he's a very good coach.

that is an important part of the great support structure around him.

carroll, stoops, meyer, etc. --- you need to be able to bend a few rules here and there.

choirboys finish last. this whole eagle scout routine with the Buffs is getting old. hell, we can't even cheat effectively, getting tagged for *gasp* FEEDING the walkons.

bah. i have definitely entered the "3 crappy seasons in a row and no bowl this year" funk.

gotta shake it off!
