Colt McCoy - 2nd Team all Big 12.
where he should be.....
No offense man, but you shouldn't talk. He beat your team by double digits on a neutral field. The only reason he isn't standing there is because the BCS popularity contest picked OU instead of UT to go the CCG.
when did Sam start playing defense? Look at the stats from each player for the game or even the year.
oh btw how did Colt due against Texas Tech.... seems I remember seeing highlights of his from the game where the Tech defense took an interception to the house on Colt..... that never happened all year for Bradford....
no offense man.... but you shouldn't talk college football when you dont know the game....:smile2:
Many people forget they UT are a dropped INT against TT away from being undefeated. For the love of god it was tossed in the air to the kid and he let it fall inbetween his hands, I will never understand how he dropped that for sure game ending INT. If that kid catches that ball, Colt wins the Heisman, the Big 12 CCG and has a chance for a Natl Title.

Stats mean jack when all that matters is W-L. Colt beat Bradford on a neutral field by double digits, he also guided UT to an equivalent record. His one loss came on the road to a top 5 team by a hair, Sam's one loss came against UT. So what did he do against Tech? He engineered a drive to take the lead with under two minutes left, not bad in my opinion.
Many can argue who is deserving of 1st team Big 12, and both are very deserving along with Graham Harrell, but a Sooner fan doesn't have much to stand on this year in Bradford over Colt for the honor.
Only I can make that call because I have more knowlege in this thumb about college football than you have in your whole Sooner Wagon. Didn't you know?

Player GP ATT COMP PAC% PAYD PAYA INT PATD
Colt McCoy 12 375 291 77.6 3445 9.2 7 32
Sam Bradford 13 442 302 68.3 4464 10.1 6 48
I think Bradford's statistics also show why he has earned the Heisman. Yes I know he has played one more game, but he didn't throw for 1000 more yards and 16 more td's in that one extra game. Sam beat McCoy in all these categories except completion percentage and led his team to the Title game. It's hard to argue the fact that he won the Heisman.
also I read somewhere about another stat of Sam Bradfords... in the 12 games leading up to the Big XII CCG, he "sat" 126 minutes and 33 seconds. Thats over 2 full games that he did not play in due to the Bob putting in Joey Hazle....
There were often times we had our best QB on the bench (Hansen) for a full 2 games
