Thoughts on two Thursday night games next season?

WVU and Okie Lite will both be Thursday night games televised on ESPN. I'm excited, nice exposure for the program.

Saw it in the Camera a couple days ago and it is at the end of the rivals article in which Hawkins is interviewed.

sick. **** ya. especially since i won't be having friday classes anymore. Plus, Cu is what, 1 and 0 all time? UNDEFEATED BABY!

I was thinking about heading to Stillwater for Okie Lite. I don't know if it being a Thursday will help that idea.

Am I the only one who thinks home Thursday games are a pain in the ass? Yeah, they are fun and the Buffs get national exposure. They are hard to get to though.

Love the TV exposure. Means we are to be taken seriously.

Looks like I might even be able to get to the Ohio and WV games. Slim chance, but better than none.

You're not the only one, but it's not tough for me. I just take that day off - and the next day, too.

The exposure will be nice. Some big gaps in there between wyoming-WV game and then 9 days before texas game.

The one I don't like is playing iowa state and then at stillwater 5 days later on the road on thursday.

Great Exposure! But I wonder what other games besides with the Butthuskers that we might have on TV?

They're not nearly as convenient for most fans going to the game, plus fall Saturdays just speak college football, whereas Thursday nights....

But there's no doubt that it's great for national exposure because not only do we get a national game, but there's also no competition from 3 or 4 other games that would typically be on a Saturday night.

And for those who don't go to Thursday games, it's just all the better because you can watch the Buffs and still not miss another game you may have wanted to watch.

Neither of them are homes games, which is too bad.... I thought the 'Blackout' was a huge success last year, in terms of visiting recruits and national image... the place was rocking

Yeah, it should be interesting to see how that ISU/OSU thing works out. Back to back road games five days apart is not the most ideal situation.

I would guess that CSU, Texas, Missouri, and Kansas all have good shots at being televised. Beyond those games, it will probably depend on how well our season goes.
