Are we going to ADIDAS?

It's retaliation for Nike U (Oregon) stealing Jackson away.

Actually, I don't know. I seem to remember that Nike had a pretty long term contract here, but that could be wrong.

Even though the athletic department has their deal with Nike, I don't think that excludes any company from making apparel with the "Colorado Buffaloes" and/or the CU logo on it. With the appropriate licensing, of course.

Can they please make some jerseys with no italics/wings/shoulder pad stickers?

Black jersey, white numbers with a big bold COLORADO across the top. Nothing more, nothing less.

I'm sure he had to buy his own shirt for the signing ceremony. I'm not even sure CU can just give him gear when he's a student. He probably went down to the mall and picked up the first shirt he saw.

Now that he's signed the LOI, I'm sure the athletic department will be having a little chat with him about wearing non Nike gear LOL

I don't know if you've ever heard of this website, but apparently a fair number of people use it.

It's where I purchased my airbrushed CU bowling ball and cheerleader CU Barbie!

Pre-emptive post.

No, BEBG. I did not put CU Barbie you sent to Kiddy Skiddy on eBay for Walrus to add to his Barbie collection.

CU Barbie "Susan" remains in Kiddy Skiddy's room with her head still attached and her uniform still on. Her's has a much better fate than Cat Woman Barbie who's whip arm is dismembered, or naked Skipper, who is my daughter's bath time buddy.

Just so I'm clear--is that what you're suggesting her fate would have been had you put her on ebay for me to purchase?

What you choose to do with a Barbie in the privacy of your own home is really of no concern to me.:smile2:

To get this thread back on track, CU Barbie's uniform and shoes do not appear to be designed by Nike nor Adidas.

Actually he probably got it at Dick's Sporting Goods. I have the same shirt.

Tee galaxy on the hill does a lot of stuff with adidas. The #16 jersey I'm wearing right now came from there and lacks a swoosh.

Looks like a kicker to me.
Sporting the CU gear, but just a little bit different.

I was at CU during the Hagan/Stewart Years. Those unis are not nearly as cool as the ones we have now. I have no desire to look like Penn State's or Nebraska's boring unis...

He shoots... he misses... Ouch, airball.

If they remove those shoulder patches, and take the italics off, they would be set. Italics just make us look soft. And then with the white, they should always wear black pants. All white makes half the team look like the pillsberry dough boys.

I was thinking gold jersey, too.

Pretty soon we'll be like the Ducks, with 397 different combinations. :smile2:
I think so, but we cant afford to not take the money NIKE is throwing at us. And heck, if the kids like the "trendy" uniforms and adds to their desires to become Buffs, then I'm all for it. I dont like the whites at all nor the goofy shoulder pads and reflective material, but I can understand it as a marketing tool, if the players like it.

Seems to work for the Phucks!! I mean Dux.

I would never underestimate the pull of Nike to bring recruits to CU.
Not being sarcastic. These are brand-happy teenagers and Nike is their mantra.

Did you know CSU still uses RUSSELL Athletics gear? Give me a frickiken break.

Yeah  They are lucky to have that contraact. If that falls through, they'll have to settle for British Knights.

British Knights got the csu shoe contract. They outbid Starberry and ProKeds. Lucky lambs.
