CU bigger and more talented than Auburn

Thats what our new GA said after coming back here from Auburn. He says it's night and day better than when he left in 2006.

Unfortunately, that's not saying much. Auburn isn't what it used to be.

I think the point is that someone who was with the program, left for a while, and came back, sees a huge difference in player physique.

. Paul Creighton our new grad assistant said this. He played TE for us in 06' and was a strength assistant at Auburn.

 Seriously, that's great and all but I'd like to see this on the field. National championships, 10 win seasons etc..etc... Let's walk the walk before we talk the talk.

 I like being bigger and having more talent, but I like winning more. And beer. I like beer.

Beer is good and the one good thing about moving to richland, washington(state) is there are a couple good brewery's out here. Deschutes and hood river. Plus,if you like wine there are hundreds of wineries out here.

I heard something about how there was a proposal to move Oregon's beer tax from something like $2.00 a barrel to something like $45 a barrel. That would certainly do a number on Oregon's microbreweries.

It would hurt them big time.

You're laughing because someone that spent time on Auburns staff said this? Like Sacky said, Auburn aint world beaters themselves, if anything we should be laughing at you for that.

I'm laughing because I disagree with the statement. I will agree that Auburn has seen better days and that the talent level is not what it once was (especially on the offensive side), but that doesn't mean CU is more talented. I would take Auburn's defensive talent in a heartbeat.

You are probably right, but for soemone that was here two years ago, go to Auburn and come back and say what a huge difference it is from two years ago is very encouraging. We are getting up there my friend.

On that count, I do agree. I like the direction we are headed. I really like the talent and size we are bringing in on both lines. Can't wait for Spring ball.

I think it is worth noting that this comment comes from a former CU player.

That being said, size is something that is more objectively measurable than talent so it's a good sign that he's of that opinion.

Maybe we should do something on the field before wetting our pants everytime we here stuff like this, national championmships, 10 win seasons. I mean, don't let me be a buzzkill but wouldn't you like to actually "see" it for once?
