Which Endzone at Folsom has better history?

I thought while it was slow I would post this question:
What end of the stadium has a better history?
I am talking on the field, because obviously the South with the Student Section blows away the North and the visitors.
Good and Bad history too. Some examples:

South: Miami brawl
North: Ochs throws INT vs. Fresno State, we lose

So which is it: NORTH OR SOUTH?

off the top of my head...

north
'86 both of CU's tds vs knu were in the north ez
'89 the pitch, soupys punt returns and resulting td's were north.
the goal line stand vs csewe to win the game. GB's runback of the blocked FG was south to north.

south has figures int vs wash to seal the game, the game winning td vs stanford, strickland laying out the ksu player, both of vickers punking of defenders, bloom and browns big plays ended in the south ez.

bad in the south was missing the game winning kick vs knu and losing in ot.

bad in the north was ochs as you mentioned.

Good topic, it seems to me like alot of CU's most memorable plays have occured on the road or neutral sites.

That said, I say the North end - my favorite play at Folsom ever (The Pitch, '89) went into the North.

NU goal line stand/fumble in 2001 was in the north end zone.

"George is a PUSSY" - south end zone.

Marqueesha rejection in 2004 - North End Zone

Strickland's removal of Darren Sproles spleen - South End Zone

Figures interception against Washington was actually in the NORTH End Zone.

Campbell end around in 1986 was the North End Zone.

21-0 in first quarter against fuskers in 2001 - South End zone.

Kneeling down with 1:30 to go on the 5 yard line up 62-36 - North End Zone (we should have scored again, damnit).

Hard to say. Both have had their fair share of great moments.

Actual commentary after CU punted to Nebraska on teh huskers last drive of the 1989 game. South End zone BTW

"And now Nebraska will have to drive 88 yards to get to Miami, and this is the end of the field where it gets particularly loud!"

Those are good plays but what about the 100 Touchdowns or so NEBRASKA has scored in both end zones? Any video of that?

I think it's safe to say no one cares. I suggest you:

Get the **** off this board you inbred, hicktown sonuva bitch! Go back to boning your mother/sister/cow/goat whatever it is that you dirty animals do these days.

Simply put GTFO

Do a little research and add something material to the conversation...unless you enjoy coming off as a common nub snot. Do you even have a specific memory of a Fusker TD in Folsom?

FWIW- I like the N. endzone, highlighted by Chris Brown's 2001 performance right in front of the Fusker Haithful. Plus the N Endzone is where Ralphie starts and finishes every run.

I found the video of Unleash Heck, now I know why he's so obsessed with CU

 you are one BITTER person.

How does it make me bitter that you are a ****ing unwanted troll around here? Unless you are going to bring some meaningfull conversation to this board. GTFO, and in case you got an education from knu and dont know what that means, it does not stand for Girlfriend That ****s Orangutan's (which is what you are)

Salam's run that put him over 2,000 was to the NE.
Bloom's 96? yard touchdown catch against KSU was to the SW.

I would say that during the Golden days (1989 and 1990) the north had the best touchdowns and the south had the best stops.

Just a couple that I haven't seen mentioned:

South:
Klatt to Monteilh
Crosby's 60 yarder
Eberhart against OU

North:
Chris Brown's 6th
Ben Kelly's kickoff against Wyo, Kelly's fumble return against Kansas
Calhoun against K-State
(these last 3 weren't really that significant, just long in distance)

Unleash Heck has seen Nebraska get their asses kicked by the likes of CU, OU, Mizzou and KU too much, go easy on him. One more 60+ point drubbing that the huskers take and he could go off the deep end.

On a slightly related note, does anyone have pictures they could share of what the north end zone looked like before Dal Ward was built? I've always been curious about that...

Let's see THE REAL BLACKSHIRT'S vs NEBRASKA have given up:
60+ X 2
50+ X 4
40+ X 3

I'm not going off the deep end, you're the one that bitched out. to quote unleash hell "PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE" Oh yea 15 losses to those teams in the last 10 years isn't going to kill me.

i'm not going to argue against anything posted here, but my first CU game saw Tony Reed run up the "Colorado" embankment to the students for the game-winner against OU in 1976...and to me, it's all about the Folsom trademark south endzone.

I was 5 years old. thanks Dad.

hell, i walk by there 3-4 times a week and think about that every time.

Joey Johnson's fumble return for a TD against A&M in '01 went towards the north endzone... that play's always been a favorite of mine.

I vote north. Jeff Campbell, reverse in 1986 to beat the Numbnuts. Watching from the east stands it seemed to unfold in slow motion but the wall formed and Campbell just kept running. He scored right in front of the dumbstruck red plague.

Glorious.

Later that day at the Harvest House I was talking to a Cornhole and he said he actually enjoyed watching the game and the CU celebration afterwards. Said Nebraska fans had grown so used to winning that they had no appreciation for such moments. Guess he's happy wherever he is, knowing times have changed.

First off, don't feed the trolls. Secondly, my putting him on ignore is worthless if you keep quoting the troll since I then can see what the troll wrote.

Stop feeding and quoting the trolls. Thank you.
