Here you go Unleash Heck

Two question:

A.) is he any good?
B.) does the fact he's the coaches son put him on a shorter leash?

The only way he gets off is if the answer to both of the above is unequivocally yes.
Let me give my .05 worth

A) I am not sure how good he is
B) I would hate to be him being a coaches kid, he will get it on both ends, from a player to coach and then from dad, (well I hope it works that way)

Meh, even tho he is a Husker an MIP for a college student isn't necessarily uncommon

the punishment should meet the crime.

MIPs are not that big of a deal.

Quick question: How many of you drank under age at Boulder?

Thought so.

They just hand them out more often now. This is not as bad as we've seen out of Lincoln for sure.

I agree that an MIP is not a huge deal. There are a few other factors at work here. This is copied and pasted from the police blotter: "Male student cited for Disturbing the Peace, MIPC and trespassing following a disturbance at Smith Hall. BAC .085. Cleared by Arrest."

I don't think you would get arrested for just having booze when underage. The headline also says that he was cited after a "campus spat," whatever that means. Oh well, we'll see what happens.

PS There seems to be quite the homeless problem on that campus. It seemed like every night there were at least 1 or 2 "transients" picked on the campus. I check our blotter from the CU police quite a bit and I don't think I've ever seen anything about homeless people causing trouble on campus and getting thrown into the drunk tank. To our friends in red, what's up with that?

Funny you mention this because just last night around 11 some crazy homeless woman was arrested because she was banging on doors and screaming racist and obscene comments in my apartment complex. Nice Monday night entertainment.

FYI a citation is issued instead of being arrested, but is still considered an arrest to most police departments.
