Charges dropped against NU player ....

When you're born from the loins of Cotton
Misdeeds done are soon forgotten.
Look away, look away, look away Fuskerland.

For what it's worth, the charges were dropped because Cotton was offered and must complete pretrial diversion. Let's face it, obtaining a MIP ticket while in college is not the end of the world. I am sure his dad will take it out on him when practice starts.

That sounds like a pretty standard determination for this type of "crime." Hey, I've raised two sons.

yeah, same thing happens to any kid here who gets their first mip. no big deal, me thinks.

Everyone gets an MIP. Not everyone is cited for disturbing the peace.

Meh, no big deal. Kids drinking at college and getting a bit rowdy. I would not think much of this from a CU player and don't see much of it from a fusker. Making much ado about nothing.

I coached Ben Cotton when he was in 9th grade. He's a really good kid and his dad is gonna straight kick his ass up and down the steps of Memorial stadium. Much worse than anything the police would do to him, imo. He'll complete his diversion classes and hopefully keep his nose clean from here on out. If not, I doubt they're gonna be real lenient the next time.

After 5, something should of told you that you are one slow SOB! :smile2:

Nah...back then they were $150 bucks a pop and your parents just picked you up from the jail. Now in Iowa they're like 2,000 bucks...so I probly would have gave a **** if I was growing up now.

They dropped off my record at 18 (good to have an undercover narc as an uncle ;)

I just like to party
