I think it's safe to say his weight problems are in the past. :wow:
That would be a pretty funny "Caption This" photo IMO

Sorry.

Easily. Givens will be an all American here if he can stay healthy. I really believe he's that good.To me it looks like he could still carry an additional 20 lbs.

Yup. Out of all the in-state kids that year, I thought Givens was the best. What he did in the Army AA game was amazing imo.And to think he was >< this close to being a fusker.

I admire your faith but the guy has not played a down of college football and has already had weight and health issues.

And yet has sent Ryan Miller to another position. That doesn't say anything to you?I admire your faith but the guy has not played a down of college football and has already had weight and health issues.

It would be nice if cubuffs.com would pick the players height and weight. They have givens at 265 and hansen has shrunk an inch.
Is scott really down to 200lbs? He played at what 215-220 last year? They say he's quicker, will he be able to carry the load at that weight in the big 12?
200lbs at 4% bodyfat. He'll probably have to add some weight, but it's a lot easier to add muscle when you are really lean and lifting and eating well. The body does not support 4% bodyfat for very long, especially for someone that needs to get stronger. He should get up to 210ish by the time summer comes around.
Gymnasts are the only athletes that carry 4% (besides bodybuilders, but that doesn't count) and they do so by having a caloric deficit. Football players cannot support recovery at the level they need if they are have a caloric deficit. You'll lose too much strength during the season.
nice info. I, however, am gonna go with the idea that Scott is simply an inhuman freak of nature who will dominate the Big XII to a degree we won't be able to believe...200lbs at 4% bodyfat. oh and don't worry about him toting the rock 30/game... weve got speedy + locky, all is well.
Damn, outstanding info, thanks NW. It is easier to build muscle, being 225 and out of shape doesn't do much for you compared to being 210 and fit.
Says to me he must be pretty good to move out miller or miller hasn't turned out to be the dominant OL all the experts at rivals thought?
I want miller to start pancaking people and to get nasty, I'm hearing good things about him and less we forget,he's a sophmore.
