Autographs

I have a nice official NCAA football with a buff logo on it that I have been wanting to get autographs on for some time.

I'm gonna take my little girl for autographs before the game, should I have them sign the football for her, or should I have them sign whatever for her and then have them sign the football for me? Will it look odd if I do the later?

Grown men getting autographs always looks ****ing stupid.

Thats my feeling too, but I would love to have a signed ball by the team in my office. And if I have her give them the ball, some will ask for her name and put To Avery, thanks for being a buff, Darrell Scott. Or something like that. I don't know, can you see the pickle I'm in?

There's no pickle. Have her present the ball. If they sign it to Avery, so what?

I bought my niece and nephew some buffs jersey's last year (white), and I had the guys sign those... pretty sweet. I am trying to decide what to do this season, and I am also leaning towards a football.

I wholeheartedly endorse the football idea. Last year when most of the team showed up at a bball game to sign autographs, I just went up and down the rows with my football and it now sits proudly on the bookshelf in my living room. When any of my friends come over, jealousy ensues.

Just have them sign it and don't say who it's for. If you want a signed football, get one. These guys aren't going to remember you for that.
No biggie, fans do it all the time.
