A positional tidbits:
Nabors and Moyd listed at WR
Adkins #1 at Left Guard
Bahr listed as backup RT (thought he might be at guard)
Eastburn listed as a Guard (thought he would compete at center)
Obi & Shields listed as Co-starting DE's
Kaynor starter at DT (surprise move this spring - finally)
Burton starter at Mike LB (ditto Kaynor)
Mohler a backup to Smart at (thought he'd be outside)
Vigo listed as backup to Burney at Corner (Wow -didn't see that one - Chapelle still out with Montezuma's revenge, but I would not have predicted Vigo playing CB)

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the right side is going to be the strong side when it comes to running plays. Miller at RG and Givens at RT.

Did anyone else find it interesting that Katoa is still listed on both the depth chart and the spring game roster??

I know he's listed as out due to academics, but he was really OFF the team, wouldn't he be OFF the roster too?

Maybe it means nothing, but seeing his name there gave me a little hope.

Couple of more observations (knowing full well that a depth chart at this point is not worth much):

- Sumler listed behind the 3 headed monster of Lockridge, Scott and Stewart? Surprised he wasn't included in the "AND" grouping. Could it be to light a fire under him?
- Deveny as the #1 TE? Props to him on all his hard work to go from QB to TE, and he did an nice job last year, but I would expect Deehan to be ahead of him. I guess Geer will hopefully recover from his injury and make a run at #1 as well.
- Scott listed as the #2 punter still cracks me up. I think Hawk would dearly love to run him out there in some midfield punt situations where it would cause the other team to wonder what he was up to. I hope that works out at some point.

He's not behind. There's an "AND" between each back and Sumler is last alphabetically.

Sumler's listed as a co-rB with the other 3. It's alphabetical.

wow...interesting perspective there, 4db...2 sr starters on the o and 4 on the d...and only 8 total on the two-deep?

two more years...

I don't like Shawn Mohler and Jon Major buried on that chart ....

Major has been hurt, where else would he be?

As for Mohler he's going to get plenty of PT.

I'm not too worried about the depth chart. Hell, Adkins is the #1 RG and I'll be shocked if he is there once the season starts.

edit...That chart is from before the spring game. I should have looked at the date.
