Before the game a fan said something about Big XII North champs. One of the players turned around and emphatically said, "Big XII Champs, NOT Big XII North Champs." I know some people are sick of the constant sunshine pumping but I thought it was awesome. He was dead serious. Go Buffs.

they believe! I want them to make me a believer as well!

If anybody SHOULD be sunshine pumpers, its the players. If they don't believe who will?

If our line is healthy we have a real shot to do amazing things this year. Not guaranteeing anything, I'm just saying we've got a shot.

Same attitude the 2001 team had. We have a schedule similar to 2001, a line similar to 2001 (not as experienced but just as talented), runningbakcs similar to 2001 and it looks like we will run the ball similar to 2001, a goal similar to 2001, and a swagger similar to 2001. If things bounce our way and injury free, yes look out.

So you are saying we will lose to Wyoming and Texas?

I'll take it if we win all the rest.

I'm pretty sure the Buffs will go undefeated, Scott will win the Hesiman, and the Buffs will bring home their 2nd National Championship.

BOOK IT!

Actually if it's like 2001, we will lose our opener which is to csu:sad2: But we are gonna slaughter those ****ing pussies!

Man, wouldnt that suck. We lose to the Sheep and become BigXII champs. Their heads would swell, yelling all over CO how they beat the BIg XII champ, and that the Buffs arent even the champs in the state let alone the rest of the BigXII.

BUT... I would take that, even though I dont its going to happen.

In 1986, the Summer after my freshman year at DU I was in Vail visiting my girlfriend. One of her high school friends had brought two Colorado football players up, one was Sal Aunese and the other was the DE with a Samoan or island background (I forget his name, but he ended up starting a year or so later). I met them at a house party. They told me flat out that they were going to the Orange bowl the next season. I didn't snicker in their faces cuz the DE was huge, but I thought they were insane. OU had shut them out the year before.

Anyway, they believed and look what happened.

That was Oakland "Oaktree" Salavea, a cousin of Sal's. And it wasn't OU that shut us out the previous year it was Nebraska when JJ fumbled on the way to the endzone. We played both OU and Nu tough in '88.
