Katoa officially no longer a Buff

Re: Katao officially no longer a Buff

Hope he turns his life around where ever he ends up

Re: Katao officially no longer a Buff

Krapatoa. :sad1: I hope he gets his stuff together. By all reports he has the talent to go pro, and no doubt could do well if he could get his academic act down.

if he was a basketball player he'd already be in the NBA

Re: Katao officially no longer a Buff

Are we ever going to get a five star who actually plays here?

Re: Katao officially no longer a Buff

Too bad, was looking forward to calling him "The Caveman."

Re: Katao officially no longer a Buff

I don't feel any sympathy for this guy. He didn't even try to get his **** together. He worked hard to get here and then just gives up. pathetic.

Re: Katao officially no longer a Buff

5 star lineman aren't playmakers. They can't change the entire game with one play.

The moon is not a planet. Planets revolve around the sun.

Welcome to the Husker non-sequitur festival.

:wtf: I think the block that Miller throws to spring DS on that 85 yard run on the first play this year vs. corns will be soul crushing and game changing.

Re: Katao officially no longer a Buff

I can't wait to see DS in action this year. I think a lot of posters on this board and NB have written him off WAY too earlier. This guy will be a stud. He wasn't that productive last year but some of those plays where he literally hurdled defenders or just bounced off of them were amazing.

I myself have been guilty many times of criticizing players in the heat of the moment when upset, to be fair. That being said, I really think Darrell is going to impress and surprise a lot of you. I think we will have a year or two when him and RS each drop 1000+ yards.

Re: Katao officially no longer a Buff

The run against aTm was amazing. Hurdles two dudes, looks like he's going down, and bounces off the next tackler and proceeds another 30 yards down field

me gusta mucho

Re: Katao officially no longer a Buff

This Katoa thing really bugs me when taken in the context of what happened with Kendrick Celestine. Katoa screwed up, then apparently did very little to rectify the situation. Celestine had some issues, took care of them, and is now looking (apparently) to make amends and continue with his life. Two kids who, when faced with adversity, took remarkably different paths.

Sad for one, proud of the other.

And there was me thinking football was a team game. Silly me.

Nobody can change a whole game with one single play as game changing plays are a result of the whole team doing a great job on that play. The skill position guys get way more credit, but even an offense with Peyton Manning, Adrian Peterson, Randy Moss and Larry Fitzgerald would struggle against the Washington Huskies without an OL.

There is no evidence he ever worked hard. He got his grades up and passed a whole bunch of "extension classes" as BYU to get to a D1 school. In hindset, it's a bit questionable if Lynn did this work or if the Godfather and Benefactor of Cottonwood High School had it done for him.

I beg to differ...

the holes that V. Rogers and A Gurode opened up changed that CU- Nu game in 2001.
