Scott says he’s considering majoring in either business or sociology and reports a 2.8 core GPA and a 1100 PSAT. He plans on taking the real SAT this spring.

Scott: “I’m very physical and smooth. I’m also a great leaper and have good hands. I can catch anything. I’m a good blocker too and work real hard at everything. I have a great work ethic and am always trying to get my game to be flawless.

“I want to be quicker off the start. I’m working out my legs a lot and want to have that extra first burst.”

Re: '10 CA WR Kenneth Scott

Colony HS is where former CSU Ram WR was an assistant until recently joining Fairchild's staff as a grad asst. Ram fans are hoping that will close the deal.

Re: '10 CA WR Kenneth Scott

He likes us quite a bit and was excited to get an offer.

Re: '10 CA WR Kenneth Scott

Ya I really hope this guy comes in for a visit. Sounds like we'll get one this Fall

Re: '10 CA WR Kenneth Scott

Scott committed to Utah today. This sucks. Came out of nowhere. Ringo just interviewed him yesterday and he said he didn't have a #1 yet but he really liked CU. Total sucker punch when Rivals announced he'd verbaled Utah.

Re: '10 CA WR Kenneth Scott

Hmm, Ringo doesnt know $hit, most are playing the wait and see game with CU. We'll continue to see more of this until kids start seeing some wins on the field.

Meh, verbals at this point don't mean much unless it's someone's dream school. There is still some football to be played and some recruiting to do. The coaches at Utah may have pressured him into committing or maybe he had a change of heart. The kid is 17-18 years old and is going to be going through a hellacious 8 months...this will at least take SOME of the pressure away, for now.

Re: '10 CA WR Kenneth Scott (Committed to Utah)

I would agree that Utah won't look so good once they find out their offense will be laggard this year as they start rebuilding their offense around a young QB.

Maybe true, but if last year taught us anything, it's that Utah has basically Zero chance of ever winning a MNC under the current BCS format.

At least at CU, there's still a glimmer of hope being in a BCS conference.

That's wonderful. We can try and sell that while Utah can actually talk about BCS bowl wins.

Re: '10 CA WR Kenneth Scott (Committed to Utah)

Doesn't sound like this is going to be a possibility at all.

ESPN: "I had the schools picked out for my visits and everything," Scott said. "I was going to visit Colorado, Colorado State and UTEP but the more I thought about it, I realized that I gave my word to Utah and that should mean something. Plus I want to start recruiting for Utah and you can't really do that taking visits to other schools so I'm done with recruiting and my commitment is rock solid right now."

Sounds like maybe he's actually been a Utah verbal for a while now?

Well - good luck to him. Unfortunate he won't come and check out the campus
