The CU-WVU game might be tougher than what we expect

it looks like a tough matchup to me... hawk and company have not been very good at all on the road. in fact, they've been dreadful. wvu is supposed to be a very, very loud place to play. and, they have athletes.

i expect a tough game. if CU wins that one, it will be a good indicator of real progress. national tv game, too...

what does "tougher than we expect" mean? I doubt very many people have that penciled in as a sure thing for a W. I expect a close game and would give WVU the edge at home. unless WVU stumbles out of the blocks virtually winless, we'll be getting points not giving them.

I thought a large portion of the posters over here though Stewart as an idot who wasn't worth coaching. Now we are worried about this game?

i did win the game 10-7 on ncaa 10 for ps3 over the weekend. wvu missed a fg to tie it with under a minute to play.

so, obviously, from that expert computer simulation, we can expect a very close game.

... had a bitch of a time running the ball, too... d.scott had 600 yards for the season on the ground going into the game, but only managed about 35 v. wvu.

Stewart looked inept against us and certainly botched the field position call....but, WVU left Boulder 1-2 and bounced back to go 9-4 with a bowl win. we were 3-0 and finished 5-7.

i don't think the conference schedules are comparable, but they rallied and made a good year of it. including injuries, we hit the wall and really weren't very competitive until the Nebraska game against the better teams we played..

If you were playing Madden 10, you must have been playing the Broncs vs. the Steelers or Redskins.

duh! effin' typo--- ncaa 10. you know what i meant... have some respect for one of your fellow elders.

:smile2:

This will be a tough game for CU to win. Like others have stated, any road game under hawk should raise the caution flag.

I hope it's not tougher than I expect... since I'm expecting an absolute dogfight against a team that I believe is going to win the Big East and be in a BCS bowl this year.

I don't think anyone should underestimate WVU. I know they lost Pat White, but not expecting them to be any good is a HUGE mistake. They have a ton of talent on that team.

this game scares the crap out of me.

They have a new coach and system and they have a couple good rb's, especially morgan williams out of canton mckinley. They were bad last season but they have many guys returning, I don't think they'll stop CU on offense but they are mostly ohio kids and can play.

Problem is, we keep losing potential starters and depth every other day.

Still a ****ing lawyer.

You might find some work in West Virigina after WVU students rip off the nailed down couches and toss them into bonfires after Stewart loses track of time again in another close loss to the Buffs.

 A couple of weekends ago at our annual alumni softball tournament, the WVU team was wearing some great shirts:

"Win or lose, we burn ****!"
