I bet Hawk and the team knows who the starter is. This could be very good game planning for game #1. Seriously, if your an opposing team trying to prepare for two different style QB's, thats got to be hard.
Not to be a smartass, but I sure hope the team knows before the game who is the starter because that guy will be reps with the 1s the whole week leading up to the game.
:stupid::dito:Fairchild is not announcing...just playing the same game.
Good for Hawk.

Why is acting like CSU good for Hawk?
I find it kind of distressing we don't have a settled QB situation..

:yeahthat:The QB situation is settled... he just isn't going to announce it publically
If he announces, then he has to answer questions about how fair the selection was, the qb's get interviewed on the same topic, the nepotism thing becomes the focus of douche's like Henderson and Ringo, and then Henderson writes his "embattled Hawkins" story.
This way, he just has to hear the reporters ask him who the starter is, and the qb's have a stock answer to give the reporters when they are grilled about whether they are pissed about who got picked to be starter: "we don't know."
It's stupid. It's time to name a starter and get the 1s playing together full time. We don't need this subterfuge to beat CSU.
Then, could you fill these fukheads in so they stop eating people?Anyone with a pulse knows who the starter is going to be. If hawk wants to keep it a secret so be it.

I bet it's Hansen who starts vs. CSU, seriously.
Watch it be Simmons.
I don't think the entire team could keep the secret if everyone knew and were practicing with one guy. JMHO
