DB's and players reaction to loss....

First, what happened with our db's last night? This supposed to be a strength. Jalil and chapelle brown got burned twice deep. Burney had a pick but very suprised at the play by them.

Hearing ryan miller at the recruiting luncheon talking about how the team is so sick of losing had me fired up. Now after the game they all say how their not mad and sound like hawk with the "throwing this one away" and work on the little things mantra.

Former coaches and teams would be irate at this loss and come out swinging, this team comes out with ho-hum another loss attitude.

one thing i noticed last night is that the team seemed to be moving in slow motion. there was no sense of urgency on the field even when we were down by 17 at the half.

the staff was not getting the plays in with any urgency, there was no urgency in the huddle, there was no urgency to snap the ball....i don't know how many times cody took the play clock down to zero when we needed to be preserving game clock.

just a poor plan, poor coaching, and poor effort on the field.

Well all they have to do is look over to the sideline and look at their coach and see how to react.

It was basically CU acted like the game was an intramural game. Ho-hum we are down two scores with 8 minutes to go, let's milk the clock with the ball.. :bang:

I was sitting near the north end zone and not close to the play, but when Goodman hit his FG it almost looked as if the player's reaction was "who gives a ****?"

Does he ever say a frickin word during the game, or have an emotional reaction? BTW, this picture was not from last night, because Danny is not sporting his new cool hairstyle...

This man has never looked the part. And now his coaching as well as record is proving it.

I disagree....I believed in his one-liner, liberal baloney. He was cool, and had a long grace period, but the gig is up. Who knows though? Perhaps he will turn this thing around.

he has no fire, no passion, no desire, no shutzpah for football anymore. Almost sounds like Barnett at the end of his reign. Seems like his "giveash!t factor" is too low just like Barnett in Nov 2005.

Good question....I'd also like to know what happened to the offensive line...our accurate QB....out stout RBs....our plan to the run the ball more...our veteran WR that never drops a ball...and our coach who is supposed to coach. Lots of questions that may never be answered.

This season could be crazy...I could see us wining the next two games...get some false confidence and getting embarrassed by WVU, TX and KU.
