Toledo Game Is All We Need To Know re: Running game

Toledo gave up 315 yds on the ground on 39 carries
Ralph Bolden was 21-234 of those yards... he's a sophomore
and that rushing performance was third best in Boilermaker history

I may not expect CU to do this - I'll give Toledo some credit for
making some coaching adjustments and home field advantage, HOWEVER....
if Hawk is going to get the Buffs on the right track Scott must start and have at least 20 carries- Lets see what the 5* can do against a weak run defense.
150 yds should be minimum.
I swear if Scott does not get 20+ rushes we might as well kiss him goodbye and I wouldn't blame him. If Scott can finally have that breakout game then maybe he gets more reps. Sumler is a good kid but he's not the answer.

I'll buy that. I don't know that Scott needs 20+ carries, but I'll go with at least 10. Between he and Stewart I'd want to see at least 30 carries. Run the ****ing ball up the middle. None of the outside, counter, draws from the shotgun bull****.

We need to run the ball non-stop just to keep the Toledo offense off the field. Toledo will have success passing on us. Effective running game is the only way I see us winning this game.

I would love to see two runs for every pass that we throw, lets get the team on track and build some confidence for the run game.
