Stewart Mandel on CU/CSU

I don't think getting beat on the road playing Boise St is as disappointing as a home loss to CSU. Illinois' loss was perhaps as bad, but Boise State is a tough place to win for anyone.

Yeah, but just like us it was the way they lost too. Oregon had a couple darkhorse Heisman contenders in their QB and RB and was supposed to go into that game pumped up and looking for revenge after their bowl loss last year.

Granted, but it was Chip Kelly's first game as HC. This was Hack 100+ as a HC.

CSU may be a good team this year, but there was very little signs of improvement from a year ago from us. Fairchild's has only had a few years at CSU, Hawk has had four here doesn't that tell you something?
