" I can't control what people think, I know we're doing things right"

Is this guy serious? You've made cu look like a joke in just 2 games and this after your 10 win mantra in the off-season?

He doesn't get it and never will.

d..doing things right? What would be doing things wrong in his book? Laying down and losing by 100?

Well if that was right... What the hell, may as well show us wrong then Hawk. I would like to see it. Maybe he just has his right and wrong confused.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
Albert Einstein

I think that's one of my biggest issues with Hawk and his staff. After a complete failure of a game like this, how can he claim they're doing things right? It's like after those Mizzou blowouts, Collins is saying how he'd do everything the same again if given the chance. :pissed:

Delusional. Same chit came out of Cally's mouth "we're doing excellent in all areas." when he was on his way out. Don't know if they actually believe it or not, but it is the last gasp of a drowning man.

What, exactly, does this man think he is doing right?

I am past the point where I can take these kind of remarks seriously. They are either bold-faced lies or this man is extremely delusional.

The one that got me was this:

"There were too many big plays, that`s for sure," Colorado head coach Dan Hawkins said. "We got close, but we weren`t able to stop them."

:wow::wow:

Yep. I got angry with that one. WTF?

Pure speculation (unless he's asked to elaborate on the "we're doing things right" remark, we can only speculate on what he means by it): The "we" in "we're doing things right" is the coaching staff. The players are not doing their jobs out there.

Self-defeating to believe that over time, of course. Coaches are supposed to right those wrongs. But maybe that's what he's trying to say, that it is not the coaches, they're "doing things right."

That's a piss poor excuse to use to try and cover your a$$
