Wyoming game TV?

I was supposed to fly out there this weekend but some medical reasons forced me to postpone the trip, now I am thinking the A&M game. So I am hoping to watch it on TV. Will it be on Fox Sports Rocky Mountain, if so I am going to order the package this weekend?

I believe the only place you will be able to get it is Fox College Sports. I get it on Directv as a part of the sports package on channel 617. I just checked the channel and it says upcoming, CU vs Wyoming. I checked into getting the sports package alone a week ago as I was thinking about changing my package and they said $15 per month for the sports package. Other thread about the cost have posts by individuals saying they pay $12.99.

The jury is still out on whether or not the sports pack is needed on direct. Even though there is no regular programming on that channel (I think), others have watched games on it without the subscription. You may want to wait until game time unless you want the sports pack anyway.

I ordered the sports package for comcast last year and it only took about 3 minutes to take effect.

My Dish TV listings is showing that they will replay the game on Sunday @ 11 on FSHDMW (Midwest HD) ch 418.

Correct. As MSBuff stated, the game will broadcast on DTV 617 but we're still unsure as to whether the Sports Package is needed to get this channel. Some people in the Denver area have stated that they get this channel and don't have the sports Pack, but that could also be a regional thing. I would suggest to call DTV and ask them if you need the Sports Pack to get this game in your area.

I have directv, and I have FCS even though I don't have the sports pack. However, the game is being replayed on FSRM Sunday at 6 p.m.

Its the same deal as the Iowa State game a couple of years ago.. (the one where we lost even though we were up 21-0).. It was on one of these off-channels that show no programming except for the game.

If you got that game without the package back then, then I would assume you would get this game.

my channel guide for DTV channel 617 shows "To Be Announced".

do i need to get a flamethrower ready?

Mine shows: "Upcoming: Wyoming at Colorado"

When did you last look at your channel guide? Because when I last checked a few days ago it said TBA.

and your job is to fly planes...

lemme guess... you guys wont switch responsibilities anytime soon...

while i may be taking over the bill paying again in the near future, she will NOT be flying planes. there is only enough room in this house for the bull**** of one pilot and i called dibbs a long time ago. :smile2:

is this game on dish tv? if so what channel? thanks, mike

It's on FCS. I'm pretty sure Dish, Direct, and Cable all have FCS available. I believe it's part of a sports package that comes at an additional cost. At least for me it does.

On DTV, the program guide shows WYO v. CU on 617, but the channel is shown in gray normally meaning you don't get the channel. Well I finally called customer service tonight and they said that those that have the Sports Pack will receive the game and the channel will activate at 3:30 EDT. for those w/ the Sports Pack

Looks like I'll be watching it on delay. I'll be coaching my kids soccer team at 2pm so its probably better for me anyways.

I just called DirecTV and apparently this game is blacked out? At least in So Cal, if not the entire western region?

i just called DTV as well. i was calling because when i was setting the DVR to record the game, the screen said something to the effect of "this program may not record because this channel is not authorized for this receiver'?

no es bueno.

the nice lady told me that the game will be shown on DTV channel 651. i told her that my channel guide lists that as "upcoming: phillies @ braves". she said that is the alternate channel for the phillies and the CU game would be on 651. as hell. we shall see.
