Hawk Post Game

That was classy. Hawk just thanked the fans for coming out and supporting the team despite the 0-2 start. He said he knows we didn't start out like we'd like and "that's on me." He took personal responsibility for the bad start and thanked the fans for their support despite his failures. I thought it was pretty cool. It sounded pretty damned sincere too.

I like this version of Hawk today. He seemed to be really into it on the sideline and so did the players. Now if only he was like that the first two weeks.... :bang:

it's going to take more then a win against Wyoming to get back in the good graces of the fan base. However, a win against WVU and potentially saving any kind of decent recruiting class for 10 might be a good start.

That's good to hear that he finally took responsibility for the poor start instead of simply saying that "we're almost there" despite losing to an MWC team and getting our ass kicked by a MAC team.

Agreed, he needs to win the next game at NIGHT on the ROAD, to shake a lot fo those monkeys.

This thing isnt turned around but it was a good step.

I'm looking at WVU right now, and they look pretty damn fast. We better improve our tackling too.

Devine just broke a long one and they're up 14-0 now.

West Virginia is beatable. That would be a big step.

LOL

Maybe if we morph into a top 15 team in the next two weeks. And MAYBE if they were coming into Folsom.

Only way I'm gonna change my mind about Juicebox at this point would be to go on the road at night and beat a team like WVU. So here's hoping I have to change my mind in 2 weeks!

how cool would it have been to have Landry Jones? we will continue to miss out on a top QBs while he is here. Of course that argument should be moot after this year.

There will be a nice WR corps next year, That is IF DH intends to use them ever.

Why is it so hard for our fanbase to get it through their heads that Jones' dream school was OU. The fact that we've only been on 1 blue chip QB is the problem.

so, until we find a 4 or 5star QB who's dream school is CU, DH needs to out recruit other programs in order to ge them here.

Yep and you would know more about that situation than most. Glad he's playing well at OU.
